The boy rose from the ground in a daze, havenng been knocked out for roughly a week. Beside him lay Faye, also unconcious.
"Hey. Hey, Faye!" gently shook her, trying to wake her up.

The redhead took quite a bit of stirring before she was awake again. Her ocean eyes slowly fluttered open, her body rejecting the light of the sky around her. With a soft groan she got her bearings back. "Andrew...? Where are we?" Though she could remember completing a large number of blood contracts, she had no idea what had happened to them since then. She remembered exhaustion. Slowly, the woman tried to sit up, hoping for some support as she looked at the area around her.

"I don't know where we are.... but look." he pointed at the sky. "Something is very wrong here."
A huge whale seemed to be swimming through the sky. Small creatures seemed to orbit it as well, like a swarm of bats. "The containment matrix must have fallen apart.... and we were blown away by the explosion."

She gasped as she saw the sky he pointed up to. "You weren't kidding..." she said softly. "I guess if that's true, we should look for some kind of shelter..." The redhead took his hand in hers and slowly pulled herself up onto her knees. Her body was weak, and her clothes were definitely not a pretty sight after being thrown around the world, but if she could find some sustenance, she could make it.

He walked with her for a while until he tripped over.... something. It seemed to be the body of a furred animal, but in reality...
"It's 040!" he said with shock. "Oh my..." he gently picked her up. "We need to find some food and water, soon. She doesn't look good."

The small girl in his arms looked very very bad indeed. It was something that Faye couldn't fix, and even if she could, she wouldn't dare it just yet. In the distance, she could see a small building. "Andrew...what's that?" She asked softly.

Faye held the girl to her chest and carried her along, finding it difficult to walk. "Andrew...can you help me walk? I'm still really tired." She held the little girl and remembered her number. Where had she heard that before? "What does 040 do?" She asked softly.

"I see," she said leaning into him just a bit. "Well, maybe we'll be able to work together with her once she wakes up. Eventually, they came upon the remainder of what looked to have been a rather large luxury cabin. A portion of the roof was gone and the structure seemed to have been evacuated in a hurry. Upon further inspection, she noted that a large portion of the wall was missing.

"It certainly is a fixer-upper." he said quietly, wincing as his arm opened up and a saw popped out of his mechanical arm.

She blinked and stopped leaning on him as they got up to the steps to the place. "Yeah. Hey, are you going to be okay?" she asked him, afraid of not being able to help with his mechanical issues.

She nodded and entered the cabin with him. She was careful to make sure that the girl was safe in her arms. She didn't want to fall through a loose floorboard. That, however, didn't seem to be the problem. "Well...I think I'll start looking for food," Faye said. "I'll see if I can't find water, too." That said, she searched for something like a kitchen, praying to God that there would be one.

It was there, and thankfully stocked. Luck had shined upon the trio, as the bathroom had a first-aid kit, although sadly the rest of the bathroom was gone. "Put her down gently on the bed, I'll examine her when she wakes up." he said, walking up behind Faye with a normal hand.
