 A sharp inhale, a shake of his fur. Gethin paused as his cape settled down once more on his back, stretching as he picked himself up once more. He'd caught whiff of a scent some time ago, and only now had his curiousity got the better of him. His muscles tensed with every step, the strange scent getting stronger with every step he took.

 Ashi's tail dragged across the dry ground his red eyes gleaming his sharp teeth shining. His dark coat reflected off the light of the sun and a scent drifted upon him making his lips curl and ears flatten. A smell of an enemy from lifetimes ago.

Gethin stared off into the distance, a figure coming into his sights. The scent curled around his mind figuritively, teasing his dark side as he tried to make the connections. It smelled so familiar, his fur bristling as unknown memories of lives past drifted through. So, they should finally meet up now? Gethin casually continued his approach, keeping alert. Just in case..

Ashi's growl got deeper and more defensive. He dug his claws deep into the ground in every step. The faint smell of blood made his nostrils flare. The helix smelt so sweet to him, so disguisting. He finally was close enough to see the shape and a few colors. Ashi would chase him off the land if it was the last thing he did. It wasn't his land but it was land. Ashi howled and said " Hey Skunk-Man what are you doing on my land!"

Gethin paused, taken aback by the name. Now, he'd been called his share of names. But that one was certainly new. Nevertheless, Gethin continued his approach at a leisure pace, smirking lightly. "Now, now. Name calling is not very nice, mongrel. I was merely checking out the source of a wretched stench."

" If your looking for the stench, turn around and go back to your disguisting clan you blood-sucker..." He hissed childishly. He was like a evil pup always blood thirsty ( not like a vampire ) but rather name call then anything. " Then again you most likely don;t have a pack since your probably got hungry and ate them all..."

Hackles raised at those comments, though he tried to force himself to calm down. He shouldn't rise to the bait, as much as he wanted to. "I would gladly return to my pack, they are better looking then my current company." Gethin paused, smirking lightly. Though, he felt compelled to stay... At least for the moment. Surely he'd been led out here on a scent trail for something?

Ashi glowered at him. " Then maybe you should return or things might change..." He barked. He snickered to himself. He had met a few helixes and he thought none were that nice looking. He then snickered " You look as bad as... Never mind..."

That had caught the dark-furred Helix's attention. Gethin's ears twitched, eyeing the wolf infront of him. "As bad as... what?" He questioned warily, unsure as to why he wanted to know. But something in his tone...

Ashi snickered. " Just some pup from along time ago, wandered onto my land... Well... she won't be seeing were shes going...." Ashi was cruel towards everyone but other werehelixes.

Gethin felt his heart drop, as his mind raced. It... couldn't be the same pup... It had to be mere coincidence, right? "Kega..." He whispered softly, glaring at Ashi as a growl worked up in his throat. Even he didn't believe in 'mere coincidence'. "So, may I safely presume that you are the one that rendered Kega to wear a blindfold?"

Gethin growled, tensing where he stood. In a nutshell, that was the very adolescent he'd taken into his pack. Though, his question made him pause. That very question had nipped on his conscious for many a night now. Why had he cared for her so much? "She is one of my pack." He snapped back, the very thought that he'd been placating himself with. "I care for my pack; unlike you, mongrel."

" What pack? An adolescent... Maybe an Omega? What kind of pack is that? I never said I have a pack but yet I do.... I have a beta... What you have is no pack with you they will be gone soon..." He barked. He was cruel.

Gethin flinched lightly, though tried not to show it. "My pack, though it is small, cannot be counted out. And last I counted, three was a higher number then two."
