West side of Navel Island town is where you can find most of the houses and inhabitants of the island. There is also a small park that connects the west and the south sides on the city.
The west side is also where the pier is. This Pier is where all the Pokemon Trainers arrive by water Pokemon or by boat.
There are no big shops found in the west.

A girl with spiky dark green hair with a high ponytail walked down the streets heading to her house with her two little sisters on each side of her, the three of them all holding grocery bags.
"Hey sis!?" the girl on the right was now looking up at her sister in the middle. "Can we play with your Pokemon after this?"
"Huh?" The middle girl looked down to see her little sisters big blue eyes twinkling at her. "Uh sure. Just make sure it's outside in the backyard or the front."
"Yippee!!" The little girl on the right did a small jump in the air. This girl looked to be about 8 years old. She had long black hair, which had a shine of green in it. It was tied into two braids running down her back.
"Look there's the house!" Shouted the girl on the left. This girl had hair much like the one on the right, black which shined green, but it was shoulder length.
She pointed to the house and started running for the front porch with her two sisters running behind her. The older one opened the door and letting her sisters into the house. She went to take her shoes off and noticed another pair of shoes. I wonder who else is here?
"Hey we're home." The older girl shouted out to her parents when she was sudden shushed by her mother.
"Tori, hush. That goes for you two as well." The woman was coming out from the kitchen to give the girls a hand with the groceries. She wasn't very tall maybe about 5'5" but very skinny. She had long black hair that went down to her elbows. "We ahve a quest sleeping upstairs and we don't want to wake him."
"We have a guest?" Tori looked at her mom, they never really got visitors that ofter.
"Yes, and he had a long trip here so give him quiet to sleep."
"Hey Tori." Tory looked down to see her little sister tugging at her pants. "Can I go play with Chatot now?"
Tori smiled and knelt down to give her sister the pokeball. "Why not take them all right now Robyn, they all might want some excersice." Tori then handed all six pokeballs to Robyn who then ran outside to the backyard to play.
"Hey Meghan why don't you go play with her?" The mother was now looking at the girl with the short hair.
"Do I have too?"
"Yes, now go."
With a sigh Meghan put her shoes back on and went outside to go and play with the pokemon.
"So who's here?" Tori looked at her mom wanting answers.
"You'll find out when he wakes up." Answered another voice from behind Tori. She turned to see a tall broad man. He had short green spiky hair. It was her father who had just come in from grabbing some vegetables from the garden. "Here you go honey"
"Oh thank you." She replied as she grabbed the vegetables from him.
"Fresh vegetables? Are you making stew!?" Tori loved when her mom made stew with the fresh vegetables.
"Yes i am." She replied back to her over excited daughter. "Actually you can help me with it, I want you to start washing and cutting the vegetables."
Without a word of complaint Tori started doing her role.

The smell of the almost ready stew made its way through the house to the upper lever creeping into a dark bedroom. In the dark room was a bunk bed that was connected on top of a desk. In the bed was a boy with spiky short green hair sleeping. Beside him was his partner Pokemon Riolu. The two of them were sleeping quietly until the smell of the stew started to float around the room.
"Ri?" The little Riolu sat up half awake as it sniffed the air. Once smelling the nice aroma it's eyes became wide with it's ears pricking up. It them turned to the boy and started shaking on his shoulder.
The boy mumbled and turned around covering himself with the blankets. the Riolu looked at him and sighed. It then pulled the blankets off the boy and pulled his pillows out from under his head and started to hit him with them.
He brought up his hand to stop the pillow wacking and sat up. "Alright up up, what is it?"
The Riolu pointed to the door and then started sniffing the air. The boy looked at him, then at the door then of course sniffed the air. "Hey that smells good, I guess supper is almost ready." He pulled himself out of bed and stretched. He was wearing a black muscle shirt that had a turtle collar. It was white on the top making an upside down triangle with the point being about 4 inches from his bellybutton. His shorts were black with rolled up cuffs just above his knees that were yellow. This outfit could be recognized as what a ranger wears, but the red coat was hanging off a chair that was at the desk.
He made his was down the stairs with Riolu sitting on his shoulder. He turned into the kitchen to see everyone in the kitchen setting up. "That smells good."
Everyone then turned there direction to the half awake boy. "Ah your awake honey." Said older woman.
Tori just stared at the boy then ran up and gave him a big hug. "Tai!! When did you gt home!?"
Tai felt the full force of the hug, with Riolu being knocked off to the ground. "Hi Tori, it's nice to see you too."
Tori then moved away from Tai still holding onto his shoulders. Then robyn came up to the both of them a little confused on who this boy was and why he looked almost identical to Tori. "Um, who are you?"
Tai looked down at Robyn and smiled while picking her up. "Hey there Robyn." the girl looked at him a little surprised that he knew her name. "I'm not surprised that you don't remember me. I'm your older brother Tai."
"Tai's been off the island for the last 5 years working as a ranger." The father had now come up beside Robyn and patted her on the head.
"So your the boy who sent the letter?" Robyn asked looking up to her brother.
"I sure am." He gave a big smile as he replied back to Robyn.

"Wow, that was really good mom." Tai put his spoon into his bowl and sat back in his chair.
"So Tai, what brings you back to the Island?" tori was now taking her brothers bowl and heading off to the sink to rinse everything off.
Tai looked up at Tori, sat forward in his chair bringing both his hands up onto the table and locking his hands together. "You guys have most likely heard about the disappearing trainers, right?"
"Yes." Responded Tai's mother. She looked down at the table with a sad expression on her face. "Theirs been reports of children that are still very young."
"Yeah, right now the youngest that we have was 12 years old." Tai continued to look down at his hands then looked up to see his sister coming back to the table. "I'm actually here on another mission. Rangers from all over have been positioned on the islands to look for the missing children. I was originally supposed to go to the North Mandarin Island first, but I managed to leave a day earlier and came here."
"North Mandarin Island. Isn't that where the new Pokemon museum opened up?" Tori took her seat at the table and looked over at Tai.
"Yeah it is. Thats also where the children disappeared." Tai went into his pocket and pulled out a letter. "One of the parents in Veintown whos daughter has gone missing gave us this letter. It says that said child was invited to the opening gala at the museum and to bring there closet and strongest Pokemon with them. Apparently all the missing trainers received the same letter."
Tori read through the letter and then handed it off to her dad when she was done. "I wonder what all of the trainers have to do with the museum?"
"We wondered that too, we also got a small lead. Most of the Trainers there were either championships or finalist in the different Pokemon Leagues." Tai grabbed the letter from his father once finished with it. "I've got a boat coming by the pier tomorrow to come and pick me up to head down the North Mandarin."
"I thought you'd be able to stay longer?" Tai's mother looked over at him a little depressed. "What time is the boat coming at?"
"12:00. Other Rangers are already there tonight and some are coming at 1. We where all supp...." Beep Beep Tai's sentence was cut off from a beeping from his belt.
"Voicemail voicemail. Tai It's Keith are you there."
"Uh?" Tai looked down to his left side and grabbed his capture styler.He flipped up the top to reveal a screen and underneath were dialing buttons. on the screen was a boy with orange spiky hair. "Tai here."
"Hey there Tai. I just made it to North Mandarin island a couple hours ago and I've been asking some of the parents with missing children if they've noticed anything strange lately." Keith started to explain.
"And what did you find out?" Tai replyed.
"Apparently, that museum had been closed since it's opening and that a lot of boats and helicopters have been leaving the island since the disappearances. One of the helicopters apparently had a red "R" on it too."
"A Red "R"?"
"Team Rocket." Tori looked up at her brother who had a confused look on his face. "The red "R" it the logo of team rocket. I ran into them a couple of times while traveling."
"What is this team rocket." Tai hadn't heard about them in the Almia region yet, all he had was team Dim Sun.
"There a group of thieves, they don't care what they to get pokemon. They have no care for anyones feelings whether it be the trainer there stealing from or the pokemon its self." Tori seemed to be getting angry now, she hated the way team rocket treated pokemon.
"Mommy I'm tired." The sound of little Robyn could be hear beside Tai. She was almost leaning on him rubbing her eyes.
"I guess it is a little late, Meghan, Robyn lets head up stairs right now." Tai's mom went over to the girls and walked them out of the room to send them up to bed.
"Your house seems busy." Keith started talking again. "So anyways I called to say that, the helicopter with the "R" actually made it's way to Navel Island. I called the union and told them about this and apparently a ranger went missing there a couple months back."
"I get what you mean, I'll check it out tonight and contact you in the morning."
"Alright, just be careful, and if you need back up just voicemail." Keith finished his sentence and the screen on the styler went black.

Tai shut his styler and put it back into it's hold on his belt. "Come on Riolu, we've got a job to do."Tai, with Riolu on his back, got up from his chair and made his way upstairs to his room to fetch his red uniform coat. He came rushing back down the stairs and was heading for the door when Tori came out from a corner blocking the door.
"Tori I need you to move." Tai said as he tried to find a way around her.
Tori crossed her arms and stared straight at her brother. "I'm going with you."
"What?!" Tai was shocked he never expected her to say anything like that. "No, I can't allow that. It's going to be too dangerous."
Tori kept staring her brother down. "Do you know anything about Team Rocket?"
"Uh?" Tai glanced over to Riolu. "No."
"Do you really expect to be able to get in with just Riolu? Most of the Pokemon on the island belong to people."
"No."
"And you can't just waltz right in there and start capturing Team Rockets Pokemon, then that could be considered stealing them." Tori uncrossed her arms and grabbed her pokeballs. "Your gonna need to battle them."
"Fine you come, just be careful."
"I want the both of you to be careful." Came a nice reassuring sound behind Tori and Tai. The both of them turned to see there mother standing there. "I want the two of you to come home tonight. So please be careful."
Tai and Tori both smiled to there mom and in perfect unison they replied. "We will mom." Tai grabbed the handle of the door and opened it letting his sister run up ahead of him. "Bye mom." He shouted as he ran off after his sister.

Tai and Tori both ran away from the house. The sky was dark now. Stars out, and a crescent moon high to the east. The only light that was seen was from lamps still on in houses and street lights.
"Rio?" Riolu jumped off Tai's back and ran to his right with his ears pricked up.
"Tori." Tai stopped calling out his sisters name to get her to stop and walked over to Riolu. "What's wrong?" Tai knelt down next to his little blue friend.
"Ri Riolu!!" Riolu pointed to the sky and twitched his ears.
Tai looked up in the sky and didn't see anything. He then stood up cuffing his hands to the back of his ears. The three of them stood there in silence for a while.
"What is that?" Tori was now staring at Tai.
"It sounds like..." Tai did a little role with his eyes. "...a Helicoptor?"
"Riolu!!!"
"huh?" The twins looked at Riolu who was pointing vigorously at the sky, they looked in the direction he was pointing in, and there it was a helicopter.
"Do you think that could be them?" Tai looked back at his sister. She knew way more about team rocket then he did.
"Their's a pretty good chance it's them." She replied to him.
"Then lets see where they are heading."
Riolu jumped back onto Tai's back as him and Tori ran after the helicopter.

Tai and Tori walked through the street of Navel, Tai slowly drying off hold a sleeping Riolu in his arms. Him and Tori hadn't said much since they left the mountain. They walked up there walkway and entered there house to see there mother sitting at the kitchen table with there dad.
"Oh, your alright." There mother went running towards the two of them giving them a big hug, then backed off after feeling Tai. "Huney your soaked."
"Yeah, this and that happened." Tai gave a sheepish smile to his mom. "i'm fine though."
"i'm glad." His mother moved back a little staring at the two of them.
"Sorry to have worried you mom." The two of them lowered there heads speaking in unison.
"That still gives me shivers." There dad shivered staring at the two. "Even though you haven't seen each other in a while, you still do that."
Tai and Tori raised there head to there dad and looked at eachother laughing. Tai then looked at the clock. It was 7 o'clock and he needed to be at the museum for 11, he did a small sigh. "I've got to get going, my boat leaves soon."
"Do you really want to take a boat?" His dad asked him.
"what do you mean?"
"i can give Tori lapras and you guys can ride her there." His dad grabbed a pokeball from off a shelf. "Here Tori."
"Thanks dad. Here Take Chatot, I think Robyn will appreciate that." She swapped pokeballs with her dad with a smile.
"Wait!" Tai had no clue that his sister was coming.
"Yes?"
"When did we say that you could come!?"
"Just now!" Tori gave a smile and pulled him towards the door once again. "Bye guys, we'll call when we get there."
Tai felt himself get dragged out of the house, and started waving bye to his parents.
Tai and Tori made there way to the pier. once there Tori let out the Lapras, they both mounted it and started on there way to North Mandarin Island.
