A small planet off the third ring of the sun of the Gorzon galaxy is preparing for conquest. The race on this plant go by the name Zormex. They are a war like people of a quality not known to their victims. With a new discovery they now can pull out into a larger world of other galaxies and they have their sights set on a small blue marble in the distance. This small blue marble is of course Earth and none expected what was about to happen. The Zormex had created a weapon that would cause no harm to the planet below, but render its inhabitants harmless. It would accomplish this by shrinking them down to a just a few inches. This would let them simply march in and take control without any resistance from the natives.
Unknown to the Zormex their device had no effect for some reason on certain humans. The female of the species for one reason or another did not suffer any ill effects from the weapon.

Ok, this is a little intro from me the creator before I go into the rules and such. I'd like to first say the Zormex are male and female military force that is invading Earth. The weapon they use will only effect males and the items they have on them at the time and nothing else. I will not be in this RP directly, I will run the background and NPCs and other story driving events. This has a plot so don't get lost in la, la land please the point is that you are attempting to kick the Zormex on their collective asses and off the Earth.
Rules:
1. Effects of the Zormex weapon vary from person to person this means variation in height between 6inch to 1inch.
2. If people wish to be a Zormex this goes for guys and gals you need to talk to me about it. I have places for you to be and things that I'd need from you as being part of the Zormex crew.
3. I'm just saying this the weapon is not a gun its rather large like the size a building and there is only one so people won't be just carrying around shrink raze.
4. Guys are not effected in any fashion except size reduction.
5. I will be a b*****d when it comes to Profiles I will not accept outlandish super hero like powers of awesome. Don't send these, I will crush them.
6. I said this before, but there is a plot don't dilly dally for the sake of dilly dallying.
7. Don't be a d**k period. I don't what someone sending a profile with a character that acts like a d**k 24/7.
8. Just put "Zormex" as your PM title
9. I can add or take away rules at anytime

Vormex wear a small dark blue patch behind their ear. This is the only thing protecting them from the effects of the device.

(Now since I know for a fact I've got some Rp's lined up I'll just go ahead and put in the setup. Since the shrink portion doesn't just happen right off.)
Unknown to Earth four large Zeta Class Battle cruisers along with a Vector Class Transport were orbiting around one of the many moons of Mars. This fleet of the Zormex Empire held over one-million souls that were preparing to invade the small blue planet. This may sound like far to few to invade a planet of billions, but the Zormex had a weapon that would not just tip, but win the war in a moment. This was the Dimensional Reducer that was being carried by their largest transporter in the fleet. The large solid black device was perfectly smooth and over 500 feet tall, 350 feet wide, and 200 feet thick. This massive machine would be dropped from orbit onto the planets surface. It had on it gravity nullification units so that it would have a nice soft landing. There was no need to risk damaging the device as it was the only one in existence. Once it was on the surface it would charge up over about an hour before activating and shrinking the planets peoples making invasion child's play.
It was just about zero hour as the transport broke away from the rest of the fleet and headed towards the Earth.

Alexandra sighed into her Pumpkin spice latte as she made her way towards home. She had stopped by after leaving her college, but was stopped by some friends who just wouldnt let her pass without a hello. Her Aurburn hair brushed past her shoulder in the chill winds and she held her jacket to her. She clicked shuffle on her MP3 and was met with Moonlight Sonata in C sharp Minor, a small smile on her face. This song had always seemed to calm her after a stressful day. "I'll just go home, maybe meditate and take a nice looooong bath and shower..." she sighed contently at the thought and continued on her way

John moved a strand of strawberry blond hair out of his violet eyes with one hand, and kept a firm grip on his dogs leashes with the other as he walked home from the park. He adjusted the strap on his laptop case, and then called out a command to his group to slow down. They obeyed. He had 3 total. One was a smaller mix of Sheep Dog and Fox Terrier. Smart and with wicked sharp senses, but rather small. The other two where mixed breeds as well, with Black Lab, Great Dane, German shepherd, and St. Bernard in them. Needless to say, they where Hugh! But the lot of them where sweat, and well behaved most of the time. He spied a young lady sipping a coffee of some kind off to just up ahead. She had earphones in, and auburn hair. John moved up next to her, and smiled in greeting.

The Vector Transport slowed down in the upper atmosphere preparing to drop it cargo. On the outside it was calm, but inside it was chaos. Soldiers were running back an forth to disconnect the weapon. A voice came over the inter-com. "Release in T-minus 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, release." The transport opened up letting the deice go. At the same time it popped up on NORAD and hell broke loose at a strange object falling into American air space. The device broke from the upper atmosphere and began to slow down as it came in for a landing crushing a park, some road, some forest and anyone caught under it.
Back on the command ship out near Mars the order for the charging sequence was given. The device began to hum.

Arcadi jumped a the sudden interaction of the man next to her, her coffee dropping down onto the ground below. "Oh-oh dear...." she said and hurrieedly whipped some of the liquid off of her jacket. "H-he-hello!" she smiled up at the man as she stood. she smiled and gently let the dog smell her hand before petting it. The ground shook as a sudden impact hit in the distnace. "That was quite strange...?"

"Oh my goodness I'm terribly sorry..." John stopped cold when he felt the rumble, and watched as the object landed in the park, and began to make noise. "I hate to be so rude as to ask this before introduction, and after making you spill your drink..." The dogs at this point where all opting to get petted by her, and where facing the object looking worried. "But are you seeing what I'm seeing? Or have I simple gone mad?"

"Go to defcon 2 General." "Yes sir." The US government was on high alert as a large object landed near a major city. No one was quiet sure what was going on. Some thought it was an terrorist attack, others a meteor of some kind, some saying space junk, or maybe a spacecraft from Russia making an emergence landing. Exact details of the object were still rather sketchy, but not a soul would have guessed of its real origin or purpose.
At the objects location police had begun to show up along with national guard. There first and only task was to quarantine the thing. Quickly they encircled it pushing people back as they came to crowd around and look. It was a made house they had to deal with as people were taking pictures, videos, and some trying to break the line and touch it. All the time the mysterious object hummed.
Back on the command ship everything was very calm now. "Commander, we are at 75% ready. We should be at full and ready to fire in just under an hour." "Good, fire as soon as its ready." The large man said as he sat back relaxed in his chair overlooking the blue planet on the view screen.

"I-it's alright! Really , i shouldnt have gotten scared like that...." she looked off at the distance, a small and almost comical smoke rose from the impacted area and she shook her head "No, your not crazy, unless the whole worlds gone mad!"

"And some how I can't deiced if I like this answer better then the alternative or not. I know this is going to sound really strange, but my apartment has a great view of that area, maybe it would be safer to watch it unfold from there? We could get you cleaned up as well." John was not military, but his parents had been special forces. He was a fantastic shot, he knew weapons and explosives and tactics inside and out, he was in top shape, and he was traind in martial arts, extensively. He was not a small guy either, so he didn't spook easy. Yet, this had his skin crawling!

"Sir, its done." "Fire." "Yes sir, of course sir." A few key-monitors went online as the access codes were placed into the right places. It only took a few minutes till they were done. A small button raised from the arm of the Commanders chair. It flashed red as he pressed it down with one large finger. "Begin invasion." The ships around Mars broke from orbit and started towards Earth.
Meanwhile on earth the giant object had gone silent for an unknown reason. This silence was soon ended as it began to emit large, and loud beeps. Each time it beeped it would emit a light and each time it did it grew faster and brighter. Soon it was as if it were a giant strobe light before it stopped then sent out a shock wave that knocked down everyone around it.
Then slowly everyone, yes everyone on the planet began to feel strange. Slowly one by one every person passed out onto the ground and the change began. Well it began for about half of them. When the men woke back up they would find them selves in a new world.

Aracdia smiled and nodded. While it was strang being invited to a strangers house, curiosty got to her. "Alright, lead the way!" sh miled and relnquished her touch from the dogs. As they walked on, she walked alongside him until they reahed his apartent and he usered her inside
