i decided to write scifi books 3 actually, i was wondering what advice or anything people had about it.

Don't start unless you intend to finish. You have no ideas how many books I've started that are maybe a chapter long.
Make sure your idea works and there are no holes in the storyline that make sense. If you're going to have complex character webs, make sure it's all written down somewhere.
And, finally..ORGANIZE. Organization is important.
