Which one do you think willl win in a battle of wits? Like a game of 3-D chess.
If info is needed between the two,( Which I doubt is needed.) then simply post that you want their info on the topic.

I would think Data.
Even if they went at it forever, Spock is mortal...
...while Data wasn't programmed to die.

That's a hard call. True Data would never exhaust, and as long off as it may be, Spock eventually would. However, Spock would be able to use less conventinal reasoning becasue of his human half... So it depends what issue are they facing?

3-d chess was in the Orignal Star Trek, I do not know about TNG though.

I'm pretty sure it was in TNG because I remember watching an episode last week or the week before that where Data and Wesley were playing it.

SpiderCookie I'm pretty sure it was in TNG because I remember watching an episode last week or the week before that where Data and Wesley were playing it. I have seen it too. I've also seen data teaching people (visitors to the ship) On who would win? Data. Both Data and Spock are creatures of logic, but Data has computer reasoning on his side to predict what Spock would do...whitch I assume would be easy to predict because he isn't going to be spontanious! Makes sense, no?

I think it would be Spock, They Probly Have the Same intelligence Level to where they'd Fight so much Data would malfuction
and Spock would Win

In theory a chess mach could go on only so long be for a check mate or stale mate would happen. This could take more than a day be for players started end game. So, it would end up being more of test of endurance than skill, or ability.
