I know that I have already posted a topic, but this one is because I want to know how people got introduced to Star Trek.
So as the topic states: How did you get introduced to Star Trek?

When I was really little, I would sit with my dad while he watched TNG/TOS.
While I have never particularly enjoyed TOS, I did grow up with an attraction to TNG.
Now that I'm older, however, I really, really like Voyager and I watch DS9 too.

Cool, what is TOS though?
I do not really remember how I got introduced to Star Trek, I say this because I had seen some of the Original Star Trek movies when I was younger, and also TNG.
Sadly, I did not watch as much DS9, but I did watch Voyager.

The Original Series.
Starring Kirk (William Shatner!), Spock, Scotty and the like.
DS9 is playing on Spike now, I believe.
2am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Voyager is my favourite series and always will be.
I'm sad that I'm not able to watch it as often now that it's only on at 1 in the morning on Spike.
I can DVR the episodes I love though.

Oh, I can't really say that I have watched the Original series, also I can't really watch Spike, I do not have cable, I used to, but now I only have basic anntena.
Also I did at one point have the chance to watch Star Trek: Enterprise, it was on one of the local channels of where I live, but now it is no longer shown on that channel.

I think I have conciously seen one episode of TOS that I can remember.
{ I don't count the ones when I was four years old. P: }
It was an assignment in 8th grade -- we watched "City on the Edge of Forever" in class.
I found it lacking in entertainability & believe-able-ness.
The lady got hit by a car going about 2 MPH and died.

I never really got into it...

I started on Star Trek much the same way.
My mom would watch the new episodes of TNG and I would grab this pilllow and lay on it. I must have been 8 or 9...
But I've never watched TOS either, Has anyone here watched it faithfully?

I started by watching TNG and TOS with my mum when I was little. My mum has been watching since TOS first came on. She got me addicted to it.

Yes, that's how some people get introduced. That is also sort of how I got introduced.
