~Deadly Romance~
Dark chocolate brown eyes stared at the white board as if it would give them the answer to the murder case. 'Why would the killer need human body parts?', they thought.
"Scarlet what do you think?"
Scarlet turned around and looked at the case file. "Well this might be caused by a cult but there is no pattern to the limbs and a cult would be more systematic." She looked up from the file and saw the other investigators nodding. "Most of the victims are male and have been found in areas that look like there was a struggle. So I would say that our killer is male.", she said as she closed the file.
Scarlet gave the file to another investigator and went over to her partner Ryo Hayashi.
"Good job Scarlet. You’re getting better at talking in groups", Ryo said laughing.
"Shut up Ryo, I'm tired", Scarlet hissed then she looked at Ryo. "Ryo what if we don't catch the killer? It'll be my entire fault.” Scarlet said sounding worried.
"Easy Scarlet, calm down", he said. "Geez, mood swings much?"
Scarlet glared at him, “Shut up Ryo!"

Blood was gushing out of a young man's body; his arm was completely cut off. Another man was standing over the bloody corpse.
"Supplies, Supplies", the man said as he picked up the severed arm. He saw the bone sticking out, so with a good grip he pulled it out. Blood spattered onto his disposable rain coat.
The man put the arm in a black trash bag and took off his bloody rain coat. He went into his pocket and took out a lighter. "Thanks for contributing", he said as he lit the lighter and threw it onto the raincoat which started to smoke.
'Maybe next time I'll paint something that'll include fire', he thought happily as he walked away laughing.

Scarlet was asleep on her desk. Ryo saw this and walked over to her. "Scarlet, it's time to go home", he said continuously until she woke up. "Come on Scarlet, I'll walk you home", Ryo said as he grabbed Scarlet's coat and gave it to her.
"Ok, let's go", Scarlet said as she put her coat on and got up to leave.
"You really should take a day off. You’re working to much Scarlet", Ryo said when they got out of the building and started to walk down the street.
"I don't work that much", she yelled.
"You've been working for two weeks straight! Go someplace this weekend or something. Go get a boyfriend", Ryo suggested since he had a boyfriend named Kazuki. After they walked a little more they came to Ryo's apartment building. "You sure you don't want me to walk you home?"
"I'm sure Ryo, I'll be fine. See ya", Scarlet said waving bye.
When Scarlet got to her apartment building she saw a poster hanging on the stone fence. A huge poster caught her eye as she walked on and she stopped to stare at it. Various tones of red made scenery-like picture unlike she had ever seen, not that she had much experience about art, just a small fascination. The scenery was strange with open mouths and empty eyes hanging in the sky but otherwise it held striking resemblance to Tokyo. Scarlet stared at it for a good while, not sure if it was beautiful or frightening. Her eyes drifted to the bottom of the poster where “Art of Hikari Riku” was written with bold red letters on a white surface and Scarlet discovered it was some sort of exhibition.
Scarlet looked at the poster again. "That looks like fun", she muttered as she made up her mind, she was going. She smiled and hummed happily as she walked into the apartment thinking about the art exhibit that she was going to.
