Alright, pretty straightforward topic; what's your favourite class?
I'm personally fond of the versatility of the Warrior class; the use of a variety of weapons, the gateway to new classes... What's not to love? The abilities and bonuses are nice too.

Warrior is what I've always played, too. It's the most straight-forward class with the least complicated rules.
What can I say. I'm a stickjock at heart.

i think overall is the monster classes because u get the benefit of the fighting plus some spells and monster abilities but if ur not into being a monster a magic class is a good way 2 go because of the fact u can fight and have a list of spells for urself (or throw ur magic balls at ppl ROFL)

LadyXMacbeth Shinobi sounds really cool too , but i'm parshial to my tower shield... What type of shinobi would you want to play? From what I understand, shinobi is a archetype, not a class. You can be a shinobi warrior and still use all your warrior abilities and the weapons. If I'm not understanding, please explain.

Is it that they are still using the standard Amtgard classes and renaming to follow the concept? That's neat. Are there altered names for any of the other classes?

I like all the magic classes. I play them each very differently, but I will order them from (in my opinion) easiest to hardest for a stick jock to play, and tell why I like them.
Healer: It can be played almost like a warrior that happens to have unlimited heals if you decide to spend your spellpoints on weapons. Sure it has less lives, but if you are good at running away, you can always heal yourself if you manage to get wounded. This class is great for newbies since your first level spells are very useful to you.
Wizard: My least favourite of all the magical classes. It's one of the better magic classes at first to third levels, but after that it doesn't get very exciting spells in comparison to the other classes.
Druid: My absolute favorite class of all time, the Druid starts out really sucky, but once you get to sixth level, It's extremely versatile. You could take weapons and act as an assassin or monk, or you could act as a healer and wizard all in one. Learn to run and speak quickly if you play this class however, and then start buffing your meatsheilds... erm... team mates, and hide by a tree if things get hairy.
Bard: One of the hardest classes yet one of the most powerful. 6th level bards get to take druid magic, so they can act like any of the above classes. Bards have to write their own incantations, which takes a bit of creativity, but you don't have to remember as many spells. Bardic charm is great for a little comic relief if you make an opponent do the chicken dance or act like they have to pee.

We've got a few knights down here that used to play what they call "dark bards". They do bard mimicing paladin, which means they're playing first level paladins with bardic magic. It's really impressive and often turns the tide of a battlegame.

I play a healer and because of it I am nearly always on the winning side cuz no one else at my park plays it. I like playing it and I am useful without always playing as a stick-jockey.
