Almost everyday, in the city of Cauldron, somebody goes missing. There are no clues, no magical residue, not even signs of a struggle. Somebody just goes missing. In the city, which rests on top of an inactive volcanic crater, the mayor suddenly goes missing, and there are multiple people hiring adventurers to investigate the disappearances. They all tell the hired parties to investigate the web of caverns underneath the city, where an ancient civilization once rested...

Jea'Den stood outside of the cavern entrance, his feral yellow eyes the only thing visible. His master had ordered him to examine the missing people of Cauldron. He'd oiled the blades on his back so that they didn't gleam with the moon shining so brightly.

(Drum Roll Please *drum roll begins* Introducing the newest member of the 1deejay cast, the sneaky, strange, and sometimes stupid, HOORATIOOOOOO. Sorry, I'm done now.) Horatio slid through the darkness loving the familiar night. However, the moon shone so brightly that it could easily give him away to just about anyone with eyes, so he tried with extra caution not to get caught. He approached the cavern entrance, his feet not making a sound even to a trained cat's ear.

A stone falls, but seemingly stops, and floats up into the air. Travonis Wayne drops down from on top of the cave entrance, his dark cloak making him seem just a black shade. Landing, he pulls his hood back to reveal his short spiked hair, silver skin, and blue eyes. "Travonis Wayne." he introduces himself quietly to the eyes. "Telekinetic." With his next declaration, his lack of conventional weapons is keenly obvious. (I've got his plans on my palm, its just having the time to put him into the barracks. I'll get it done soon though.)

Horatio stopped and watched a very black shape seemingly appear out of no where and talk to an unseen person. "Great" he said softly. He stopped being stealthy and just casually walked up to the pair. "Horatio, thief and gadget expert!" He declared.

Travonis whirls around on the new voice, his cloak flapping. Seeing a figure suddenly appear out of the darkness shot his nerves, and in order to calm down his adrenaline, he starts pacing back and forth, unaware of his subconscious act. "Anyone with you?"

"Maybe, maybe not." Horatio replied with a smile. He sat down and took out a small tool which he started playing around with. He seemed absolutely engrossed in the thing.

Vincent walked casually towards the gaping maw of the underground caverns. Disappearing people didn't bother him, that wasn't why he was going down into these caverns. All he wanted was the gold reward for the investigation. Why the people in the city above wanted people to look through the caverns was a mystery he didn't care to try and understand. What he did want to know was why there weren't any previous expeditions that he heard of that went down here before the disappearances.

Seeing a pair of red eyes coming out of the forest, Travonis remarks to Horatios "If you brought any red-eye friends." Travonis expects to see a dark elf, and just hopes it's not an enemy.

"hmm?" Horatio said not paying attention. He was focused on his gadget which appeared to be a looking glass but was beautifully adorned with crystal. He looked through and looked directly at Jea'Den. "Aaah!" He cried, dropping the spy glass. "It let's me see invisible people, it shows life signs not images. It's kind of creepy though." He said as he picked the object up again. He then looked into the direction of the newcomer. "He looks fine." He finally stated.

Vincent continued onward, until he saw to figures near the cavern entrance. "Let me guess," he said loudly, making sure that they could hear, "you were both hired to go off and explore these caves as well." His hand went automaticly towards his crossbow, ready to shoot if either proved hostile, or just too big a pain for him to want to try and deal with.

"Calm yourselves." Came Jea'Den's voice. He stepped out into the moonlight, and if it weren't for the fact that the moon was so bright, he still would have been invisible, so dark were he clothes. A little bit of his silver hair showed from under his black hood as he looked around. "I was told to wait here for you. Let's go." Jea'Den obviously wasn't one for much speaking.

"Told?" Travonis asks, looking at Jea'Den. "By who?" He keeps a casual eye on Vincent, not really trusting the dark elf.

"Probably the mayor or something." Horatio said putting the looking glass away in an unseen compartment in either his cape or his belt.

Vincent turned his head to look at the newcomer. "Someone comes mysteriously out of the shadows," his voice carried a coldness in it, and his hand grasped the handle of his crossbow, "and that same person expects us to suddenly follow him," his fingers released the safety, "without any sort of explanation except that he was 'told to wait here'." He pulled the crossbow out in one fluid moment, firing it directly at the man. Without any hesitation, his finger quickly reloaded and reset the weapon, and he quickly pulled out his rapier. He didn't like people who just came out of the shadows and expected trust. Especially when it involved an unknown terrain that was possibly enclosed and tight, the perfect area to set up and stage an ambush. Maybe he should kill the other two off, just for good measure. They could have been in on it too. One could never be sure of what was going on when money and people are concerned, especially when Vincent was involved.
