Heh, so I got a helix piercing (Piercing in the top ridge of ear cartilage) last Wednesday - it's been five days now, and my ear's FINALLY not red and swollen any more. I've had to keep the girls off that shoulder (Princess: "But WHY can't I sit on that shoulder, Mamma? I WANT to.") so they don't accidentally help infect it, but it seems to be healing up well (and it's stopped hurting so much now, which is most excellent)
Does anyone else have extra (non-earlobe) piercings, or tattoos or such? What do you guys think about them?

I have 9 stars on my right calf, and I used to have 0 gauges in my lobes, but I had to take them out for work. I also had two other piercings but I took them out 3 months after I got them... I did it twice too. They wern't as much fun as some people lead me to believe, and hurt way to much.

I have a small tattoo between my shoulderblades, and two earrings per ear. That's about it, really. I would like another tattoo though...

Pustulio demands your attention! Ah...where do I start? Three piercings in each ear (nothing crazy, only at a 12 gauge and not going any bigger!) and two tattoos at the moment. This was my first one, which I've had for two years. It's on my left arm... I have a decent sized celtic knot design between my shoulder blades which I designed myself. My next project is a dragon and tiger half sleeve for my right arm. That's the 'My and significant other' tattoo; I was born in the year of the dragon and he was born in the year of the tiger. Getting other people's names on you is always a bad idea. XD

Nekojin_cat Hey, awesome. Well, in five days now, I'm getting a tattoo done, of a cat on my shoulder. So scared it'll be really ridiculously painful! gonk Yeah it will be. Just take good care of it. That it will stop hurting sooner. Kinda like a piercing. If you don't cleanse it every day it will get infected. When I first got my ears pierced (8 or 9) I got this free ear cleaner stuff. It didn't work. After a month my earring became IMPOSSIBLE to twist without stinging badly. I told my mom and she flipped and we had to pry it out. My earring hole bled and puss covered the earring (sick...very much so). So I just cleaned it with disinfectant for the rest of the time and I was all better. I strayed from my starter earrings for a long while. Infact I still avoid them! I'm afraid they still have the infection on them and GOD DID THAT INFECTION SUCK! But I've never had a tattoo before so I don't know what to tell yeah. I'm pretty sure if you take care of it though that the pain will just fly by. I plan on getting a tattoo though (either a star that looks like a fish ... you know covered in scales, and fins at every point. Or my comic design characters...they're stick figures with only mouths for faces but they're real expressive ;o )

I also have a helix, in my right ear - I'm planning on a second beneath it at some point (aka when I have that kind of money), so I can be asymmetrical. I have two earlobe piercings on the left, only one on the right. I'm not personally interested in any body or facial piercings, but I do desire a tattoo - a piece of my own design on my left shoulder. However, I once again have to save for such a thing.

I have a tat. Everyone said I'd hate it someday. Maybe that's true, but this Summer is Nny's 3rd birthday and we're still madly in love. heart

I have upwards of 100 ideas for the next tattoo, I just need to decide which one I'm going to get next.

after i get married (those were the conditions of the "matron" of my family) ill be getting an old clock tatoo with the time being the date of my mother's birth. i was going to do the date of her death but i thought it might be a bit too depressing. and i plan on decorating it with dragons of course.
another tattoo i want to get is of a ball python or leopard gecko in a tribal style. ive seen alot of people do that with their favorite reptiles and mine are a big part of my life

Oh, yes. EVERYONE regrets tattoos later on. But we're living for the here and now, aren't we lovey? On another random note, I finally got my half sleeve almost done! I have the subjects outlines and colored, now it's just getting the background done... It's not stupid. It's advanced!

When I lose a lot of weight I have some plans:
Piercings: Navel, and tongue (I need to get my teeth straightened out first wouldn't want to draw attention to crooked teeth )
Tattoos: Wings of some sort on my back either red fairy or black angle and not little dinky ones (though they look good on some people) I'm talking full wings. Next to my navel I want a pink butterfly that's on fire, not burning but on fire. That one is inspired by someone, who's made a very large impact in my life. I also want a pentagram somewhere I'm just not sure where or how to incorporate it. And lastly, which is a new one I saw and must have >.< a rat paw print on the side of my wrist (not where the veins are and not on top but in between)

I always had big plans for memorial and tribute tattoos in remembrance of many of my beloved pets.
Unfortunately, my drunken party days left me with an unfortunate mistake that I still need to save up to have removed.
I woke up from a huge party with no memory and a huge horridly done tattoo on my breast that looked like a freaking two year old did it. The person who did it must've clearly been drunk too. Ugh. Despite having no memory, my heart must've been in the right place, because it does say "Rockey", inside of a heart, which was my dog's named whom I had for 17 years since I was a tiny tot. No clue who did it, but I had no shirt on, and had trouble finding it, and my chest was all bloody. Lol. Definitely not a fond memory.
I want to have a PROFESSIONAL do me some nice tattoos of my pets some day, after I get this wretched mistake removed. Who told that drunken idiot he could use a tattoo needle on unsuspecting drunk girls? Lol.
