Since everyone loves the internet, and I don't want to fill up Mankind Recommends with just linkage (plus, that would be more exclusive). So here's a place where we can all get together and share our favorite internet bits.

I'll go first.
This video is mesmerizingly fantastic. Exploring the world through graphs and stream of conscious thought, this short work is both funny and really interesting. Well done.

Ooo! I have a few things to start!

First: This little a capella number will knock your socks off (if you are at all inclined to like star wars, that is)

Second: What if Starbucks marketed like a church?

www.teefury.com has a new t-shirt for sale everyday, and once the 24 hours is up the shirt is (possibly) never seen again. I am so addicted to this site atm, it is a shame that I has no moneys. But I did buy one shirt from them and it is amazing! I can be almost certain I'll never meet anyone else with that shirt too. If you are into helping out small time artists and designers (or are one) you should absolutely check out teefury.

I have something that's both a recommendation and a few links...

A great friend of mine introduced me to the Touhou Project, a one-man project by a Japanese man called ZUN, the first time we met... I will admit, when I first played a Touhou game, I actually got yelled at because I was like... REALLY bad at it, but as I played, as I have seen happen to many more players than just me, I've gotten better. Touhou is ridiculously addictive.

I'll admit, I'm a total Touhou fan right now.

Anyway... The games are in Japanese, though a few of them have built-in English patches... and the rest have translations that can be found on the Touhou wiki. Go ahead and check the games out, you all may like them. I'd also love to compare strategies and progress with you all; it's always fun to compare them because you can tell a lot about a player's style and strategies. If you want to download the games, wait! doujinStyle went to forums-only, so I'll have to find somewhere else to link to if you request them. I will warn you the file sizes are rather large, but they're so worth the trouble.

I know the fad definitely started in Japan, but through the awesomeness that is the internet, it's gained quite a huge fanbase.

The Great Big Webcomic List of Doom

In no particular order (except that in which I read them on mornings when they update)
Sam and Fuzzy Updated Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, this comic follows the lives of an ex-taxi-driver-turned-roadie-turned-leader-of-the-world's-most-powerful-crime-syndicate and his sociopath bear friend.
Penny Arcade Updated Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, one of the rare comics with absolutely no continuity, follow Gabe and Tycho as they make fun of everything, especially video games.
Questionable Content Updated Weekdays, follow the adventure of hipsters and indies and their coffee shop in western Massachusetts.
Ctrl Alt Del Updated Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, this comic may have jumped the shark last year, but still manages a few good laughs at video game nerds expenses
Starslip Crisis Updated Weekdays, this sci fi comic follows a lonely space curator, his buglike manservant [sic] and his drunken pilot, in their giant luxury-class-battlecruiser-turned-museum
Least I Could Do Daily webcomic about a kid who never grew up, except to get over cooties, become slightly misogynistic and worm his way into an excessive budget. A bit racy this one, but hilariously irreverent.
Dominic Deegan A daily webcomic following the adventures of a messianic seer. Pretty good fantasy webcomic, love of puns and alliteration.
Schlock Mercenary Amazing daily Sci Fi Webcomic following a mercenary group. Mostly hilarious. Probably my favorite on this list.
PvP Updated Weekdays, a video game nerdy webcomic about people who write a video game nerdy magazine.
Gunnerkrigg Court Updated Mondays Wednesday Friday. Astounding webcomic about a young girl attending a school with many secrets. Relatively new, I recommend the archives. Great mythology in this one.
xkcd updated Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, a webcomic of Romance, sarcasm, math and romance. Another contender for all time favorite.
362 Updated Monday Wednesday and Friday, a webcomic about college run by a friend of a friend of mine. Really new.
Dr. McNinja Updated Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, the webcomic adventures of an irish doctor, who's also a ninja.
Looking for Group Updated Mondays and Thursdays a great WoW (or similar universe) webcomic.
A Slice of Life Formerly updated daily, now any chance the cartoonist can get. Farside-style drawings of a disturbingly funny man.
Order of the Stick Updated 1-3 times a week, at random. A great DnD (or similar universe) webcomic. Simple drawings, incredible humor.
Overcompensating updated dailyish? The not-entirely-autobiographic adventures of a webcartoonist.
Three Panel Soul Updated once a week, on wednesday. If you're lucky. Good art and humor, no continuity.
Jump Leads Updated on no discernible schedule, but around once a week. British SciFi humor comic. Fantastic Art. New.
A Softer World Fabulous photo webcomic. Updated relatively often, 3-5 times a week. And bitingly cynical. Actually, terrifyingly cynical. This may be the loneliest comic on the internet.
Night Zero Another Photo Comic, but this time with continuity! Updated Monday Wednesday and Friday (though currently in intermission) Zombie Continuity!
Geist Panik Updated sometimes. Often ish. Intermission right now. Kind of like ghostbusters meets chick, and an R rating.
Rob and Elliot Updated Mondays. A good comic about two friends and roommates who actually just don't like each other.
Blue and Blond Updated, I'm sure. Surfer comic, with continuity. A little hard to follow sometimes, but pretty good.

And that's all I got. Feel free to add.

Of that list, I read XKCD and A Softer World... I'll post a few of my favorites here soon.

Good, I am always looking for more.
Actually, I read a few others, but I'm not recommending them because they no longer update... like, at all. but if you're looking for some good archives I can add some recommendations.

As for something more to see on the internet: Proof that not everything in the internet is anything worthwhile, but still you have to see this. It's too terrible. I give you Christians AGAINST cartoons (emphasis theirs, not mine), featuring an article on the satanism and communism inherent in recent Dora the Explorer videos.

Pointless Sites.com
A site dedicated to pointless sites... in a way, it's pointless but it DOES have a link to itself... I've found some pretty fun things there. Like Ice Breaker and the Impossible Quiz... but I think they took the quiz off. So... here's a link to it. sweatdrop
The Impossible Quiz
Once I got up to about question #110... but right know I can only get up to about question #85.
