Dionysus is my favoruite Greek god because I feel that he is pretty much the god of art itself because of its kathartic nature and because I feel that releasing your emotions and escaping the hardship of everyday life is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves. (Also, he tends to pop up everywhere...it's intriguing, actually...I'm going to write a paper on it.)
