Ok, so I finally saw The Happening like a week ago. I'm still not sure if I liked it or not. I usually reallly like Shyamalon movies, despite the quarky story quality they all seem to have. This one though, sort of caught me off guard. I really liked the main character, he was developed well, and easy to identify with. But some thing seemed completely superfluous. Like (SPOILER smile meeting htose kids and then the whole thing with the shutin guys shooting them, was just a waste of film in my opinion. (END OF SPOILER) ANd nothing really gets resolved in the end. In some movies, that's ok, becuase its like artsy or something, but this one was just kind of disappointing.
What do you think?

Mmmm Mark Wahlberg.
I liked The Happening. I liked the environmental message in this one. Though, the old lady at the end totally freaked me out and I totally thought she was responsible for everything that had been happening.
Oh and Mark Wahlberg! HaHa. I've developed a fixation since I saw him in Four Brothers.
