Everyone! Big news! I can now finally officially tell you when the North American version of Pokemon Platinum is coming out! Yay! Thanks to...should I call it my sources? Anyway, the english Platinum version is due on March 22nd, 2009! Hurrah!
Also, just do you know, there are a few name changes in the english version. Do to us not wanting to get sued by Disney, Pluto, the newest Team Galactic commander, had to be renamed to Charon. Another change was Detective Handsome's name to Detective Looker. The final change that I've been made aware of is Giratina's demension, the Ruined World has been changed to the Distortion World. I'll give you all more details as I get them, okay?
Also, since Nintendo has a habit of pushing release dates back, this date
may be subject to change. I'm really sorry if I bothered anyone by not saying this outright. Sorry!

Because you seem so sure of yourself, i'm going to quit the guild if your results are incorrect... Why? Because you say 'it is' instead of 'it might be'. It's impossible to know a japanese's game release, especially from nintendo. Usually they prograstinate a lot, and set the game off atleast a month from the time they say they will... Must i remind you of D/P? Or would you prefer Smash Bros?

Is that really necessary? I do have to concede a little in that nothing is for sure, but March 22nd, 2009 is officially the release date Nintendo has put up. I apologize if it turns out that they push it back...And yeah, Super smash Bros. was just awful...but please don't think I'm making this up or anything...Honestly, why would I bother? That just seems really mean...

I'm not saying that you're making it up.. That's for noobs who usually don't wear any clothes.. I'm saying that your source may not have been quite as accurate as you think....

Why isn't there a "Yes, because I buy almost every Pokemon game." option? Seriously, they're just revamping the graphics, adding mini games, new out fits, and a few new characters.

I would've voted for that one, too! And yes, while Pokemon Platinum does differ from Diamond and Pearl from what you just said, there is also that you can catch the legendary birds in Platinum, where as you couldn't get them in the previous Generation IV games. Then there's the expanded storyline so that you have a purpose in the games besides trying to "catch 'em all" for a longer time. And then there's the different Rotom forms...as odd as they are...So, while they are essentially the same game, at the same time, they're not, you know? Platinum has enough new features and extra gadgets to make me want to buy it. ...I don't know...Maybe I'm just a really big nerd, but...It seems worth it to me!

i've already seen stores accepting pre-orders of platinum. so, it must be coming out on time. i am sooo excited!!!^^ i would of preordered if i knew how much money i had in my account.
And Kiradalia, if you're a nerd, i'm a bigger one. i'm in college and still buying pokemon games...XP i even play the old ones....
