Tarea had always been a bad cat. So much so, that when his ninth life was taken from him, the tom cat found himself in purgatory. He lived in this state of suffering and punishment for many years, until an cherub heard his cries and took pity on him. She bestowed him one more life - with an exception. Tarea must renounce his evil ways and live his new found life with a higher purpose. The seraph removed the cat's pain and anguish, but could not remove the outer most markings of wickedness. Terea was cursed to bear the horns and fangs for the rest of his mortal life.
Tarea was place on the earth again with no recollection of his past life, or anything in between. But his personality is constantly conflicted. He can be quick to snap and has an insurmountable, mysterious force pulling him to act upon his evil thoughts. But in his soul, a small light always shines through the darkest times. And he longs to love and be happy.
