Christmas spirit

Christmas is less than two weeks away. People are putting up their Christmas trees, and shopping for presents. Families are making plans for what to do on that long awaited day, the day celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Everyone has that blissful, happy feeling. We have to remember that it’s not just all about presents and Santa. Christmas is about so much more; the love of one’s child, being with family, and being humble towards others. That is what the idea of Christmas spirit is to me. Some families go without presents on Christmas, we all know that. Some of the less fortunate don’t care though, they still have that Christmas spirit even with the circumstances they’re in. Those kinds of people are so strong; it’s what gets them through such hard times. Another thing about Christmas spirit is sharing; many people have come up many successful charity organizations for the less fortunate. So let’s hope that the Christmas spirit circulates to everyone if it hasn’t already.
