Before Words I have designed this rp to be a like an actual book. This rp is like campfire stories, one person starts it and the next person finishes it. Each person will make up their own character and send thier profile to the profile page. There, will be the list of characters. You will post in a new paragragh for your character. Each chapter title will explain where your character is in the story. Rules 1. No God modding 2. No cursing 3. Keep it PG 13 4. Please finish your character's part so that others may write without conflicting with your character 5. Write at least two sentences a post 6. If you must be out over a period of time, please alert the roleplayers here 7. Your writing must match the chapter title, and try to keep the story along one path 8. When making a character, post it in the profile page Skeletons I am known as: (username) I created: (character's name) They are: (male/female) Their lifestory: (bio) Their secrets: (secrets) Their relatives: (friends/family as characters on the rp) They look: (Picture) You may update your skeleton anytime. This is a PUBLIC rp. Do not pm me unless you have a question about the rp. Enjoy!
Updates: Check here for chapter news. If you are new, start from chapter 1, but don't write chapter 1 on top. If you are from the begining, follow on your procedure. Please read chapter 3's description below.
Chapter 1: All the characters will fall into the blank book and report to the sandy Dragon Desert
Chapter 2 : All characters will meet other usernames' characters. We shall discuss what happens through pm. You will pm the username of the person you want to meet and talk to them about dialogue and stuff.
Chapter 3: (don't start yet) Here's where the story really starts. The world will start changing and the characters will develope magic powers because Myndie will grant it to them for there protection. The object is to stop Myndie's father's evil magic by using your magic to eliminate all the evil boss leaders in each chapter. The boss leaders will be created by whomever wants to make one, but there can only be thirteen because there will be thirteen more chapters. So this is kinda like the quest chapter, you will be sent by Myndie to scout the land and search and destroy the evil boss leaders. In the end, Myndie will battle her father, who is still bitter about Myndie being in there, to stop the book from taking people.

Prologue Long ago in a cave near the woods, a man and his daughter, who were magic, created a book that had a life living inside. Every form of fictional life lived in that book, and anyone who touched it, automatically fell in. The pages appeared blank, so that anyone who saw it thought it was blank. The daughter forgot that she could fall into the book, so she touched it, and fell in, never to return to Earth. The man, angered at the loss of his daughter, made many copies of the book, and hid them in many libraries so that more people could join his daughter.

Chapter 1: Falling into the Book Fumbling through the streets was the short Rikki running and pacing her way to the library. "I have to get there before it closes!" she said to herself. Rikki was determined to get as many books from the library that she could, because her parents refused to buy books that were fictional. She pushed through the library doors so hard that a gust of wind ruffled the pages of many books. "Shhh!!" the librarian squeaked. "Sorry" Rikki said. She had to grab as many low-shelved books as she could because she couldn't reach the higher books. As she knocked many books down into her lap, she noticed one book that had a black spine. When she removed the book infront of it, she stared sideways at the cover. "Hmm" she said. She stared at the coal black cover and marveled its blankness. Slowly she placed her fingertips on the spine. "Huh?" Rikki's finger slowly sank into the book like it was quicksand and she couldn't pull it out. Rikki planted her feet against the book shelf. "Huh!? Aghh!" Rikki squeaked and squealed until she knocked down the book shelf. "Rikki!" The librarian yelled as the book shelf toppled ontop of her. The librarian rushed over with a few men. When they lifted the bookshelf, Rikki was gone and her scream lingered on.

Chapter 1: Falling into the Book
Brock, Valor's roommate walked into their bedroom, eyeing his carefree roommate with disapproval.
"You missed another study session," Brock grumbled, trying to manage his armful of books. Unlike Valor, Brock studied hard to stay in this prestigious boarding school and took his work seriously.
Valor wasn't listening. He was playing Mario on his old-school super nintendo. "Yeah yeah! Take that! And that! I'll show you, you pixilated figment of gamers' imaginations!"
"I went to the library to pick up some books I reserved for my research paper. When are you going to start on that paper, Valor?" Brock asked off-handedly, then cursed when he dropped one of his books on the floor near Valor, causing the pages to fly open.
"Oh, you know, sometime...hey, what's this?" Valor asked as he suddenly took interest in the random book at his side.
"Those idiots at the library gave me the wrong book! This one doesn't even have words in it! I'll have to take it back."
"Hey Brock, there's something weird with your book." Valor said as he tried to pull his hand from a page that he'd touched. "It's kinda...sticky...eww." Valor tried and tried to pull away, but the book seemed to be sucking him in. Finally, the book seemed to grow tired of the game and with one powerful tug, yanked the boy down into its pages.
Brock dropped all of his books hard on the floor as he stood in disbelief at what had just happened. On the TV screen, Mario died by means of flying turtle and the ending rif played. In the next instant, Brock was off and running down the halls screaming for the headmaster.

Chapter 1: Falling into the Book Dust and sand blew from all directions. Rikki got up and dusted off her knees. "Hi, I'm Myndie" A girl with silverish hair extended her hand to her as she struggled to get up. She took Myndie's hand and stood up. "You are new here! Aren't you? You are..." Myndie looked up at the sky and waved her hands. Black words appeared. "Rikki Mouse then entered the Dragon Desert, and she met Myndie" was what it said. "Hmm, Rikki Mouse? You mind if I call you Micky Mouse, you know, like the cartoon?" "Oh, um, that's.... okay I guess" Myndie smiled. "Come on, let's go!"

Chapter 1: Falling into the Book
Valor looked around, suddenly finding himself surrounded by sand dunes. Let's see, I remember playing Mario, then touching this weird book...and getting swallowed by said book. He held up a finger as though making an important discovery. "Clearly, I must be in the book's stomach!" He knew it was stupid, but saying that made him laugh and it helped him to keep from feeling quite so doomed.
He smiled and rethought his situation. "If only I had some water, I could make the most wicked sand-castle. But then, I guess that's the point of a desert not to have water. At least I don't have to write that stupid research paper as long as I'm here."
Thus, with a positive attitude, Valor stood up and dusted himself off, and then began walking in a random direction.

Chapter 1: Falling into the Book The girl ran as fast as she could before they caught up to her. "Leave me alone! I don't have any money!" The boys circled her and she was trapped. She stepped back with a trembling leg as the bottom of her skirt wipped the air. One of the boys smiled. "Hey, we don't want no trouble, right boys?" He smiled as he pulled out a switch blade and his gang laughed. I knew I should've never came down here. Jonny stood there looking confused. He didn't think that attacking a twelve year old girl was funny, or evn amusing. The leader of the gang stepped forward to the girl and felt up her leg. The girl was so scared that she trembled and let out a small cry. The leader kissed her cheek as he went further up her dress. "That's enough!" Jonny yelled. He pushed the gang leader aside. "Hey, lighten up! I wasn't really going to..." Jonny punched him hard in the face. A fight then broke loose. Cops began to arrive after they disturbed the sleeping neighbors. Everyone but Johnny and the girl scrammed. Jonny stared at a book on the ground, wide open revealing its white clean pages. He wiped the blood off his chin as he stared at the little girl who was still petrified. "Hey, um, here's your book" Jonny bent over to pick up the book. When his fingers touched it, he tried to pull back. "Shoot girl, what you do? Spill juice on this thing?" It took Jonny awhile to realize that the book wasn't sticking to him, but pulling him in. He fought with the book hard and he could not manage to remove his finger. "What the...?" The little girl walked up to him and tried to help. "W-What's wrong?" By the time the cops pulled up to the girl, Jonny was lost inside the book.

Chapter one: Falling into the book
The rain outside slammed loudly against the roof. Ryu stared out the large window from the seat beside it, a candle on the sill and paper and pen in her hands. It was dark outside, all dark, with the little moonlight that escaped the clouds illuminating the rain. Other than the rattle of the rain on the roof, it was eerily quiet in the house. The only lights were the ones coming from candles and the fire on the ground floor, and the wick on Ryu's candle was burning dangerously low. The dying fire flickered on her eyes and the pen slowly stopped, the ink dry. With a bored mind, she set the pen and paper down, picked up her candle, and headed toward the library.
Ryu had seen everything there before. The books she was allowed to read, and the ones she wasn't allowed to, but today she went down the 'do not enter' passage and looked through the books. She wasn't really interested in any for a while, and then found a book with nothing on the spine. Intrigued, Ryu opened the book to find blank pages. She would have shut it, but a strange and sudden pain in her hand caused her to drop the book. It landed on the spine and bounced open. As she reached down to pick it, she brushed the white page with the side of her finger. In a golden flash of light, Ryu was blinded, and gone, the book laying open.

Chapter one: Falling into the Book Meg was walking back to her dorm when she heard her name being yelled out across the hall. She slowed and turned to face a young girl who she remebers from one of her teaching lessons. "Yes little one. How can i help you." Meg asked in a voice that was sure to make anyone feel better. The little girl was holding a package behind her back and crossed her feet. She looked up at Meg with big beautiful eyes and say in a faint voice "I got this for you Miss Meg. I thought you would enjoy it." She handed Meg a brown package shyly and took off in the direction she came form. Meg smiled and set off t her room. When she got there she layed on the bed and opened the package. On her lap layed a beautiful black book but the book had no title. She opened the book and found it blank. She traced her fingers over the pages but was suprised when she could not take her hand from the book. Try as she might it never let go untill it took her in completly. She gasped when she found herself in a desert. The sand dunes were amazing. Shestarted to walk not knowing the direction but it felt like somethig was pulling her that way.

Chapter 1: Falling into the book "I'm going to stay downstairs and clean up the rest of the place, I'll go to sleep soon, you go ahead." Phantom smiled to her "mother" as she headed upstairs. Phantom looked about with a sigh. "Well time to get started..." She smiled and started picking up books and looking through them. Not knowing yet how to read, since she was just made an hour ago, she just looked through the books for the pictures. She picked up a book with no title on it, and blinked putting the rest down. "Hm...What's this?" She asked opening it to see not a word nor picture printed. "A journal maybe?" She questioned before feeling a bit weird. "w-what's this feeling....I..ah..AH!" She closed her eyes tightly and hugged herself.
The feeling disappeared soon, a bit afraid to open her eyes, slowly she lifted an eyelid and then blinked in confusion with wide eyes at seeing she was no longer in the library of the old witch's house. "W-Where....where am I?..." She asked starting to walk around to look for someone.

Chapter 1: Falling into the Book It was dark and cold in that old cell. Vincent had broken all the prison rules, and he knew he would never get out. He would never be free. He would never see his brother ever again. His hair was all dirty and his eyes were blood shot. He had gone crazy. He had nothing to look forward to but his white walls and the sounds of men beating up eachother. He had one friend, though. Her name was Annalise and she was a cop. She was the nicest cop there and she often fell for the inmates' sob stories. So he asked Annalise to bring him books, a lot of books, so that he could read them and not picture his father in his mind. A clickity-clacking filled Vincent's ears as he waited for Annalise. Annalise had soft brown hair that shimmered down her back. Her voice was so soft and her voice was the only voice that could let him forget his pain. "Hello, Vince, I got your books" She pplaced a big box onto the floor and pulled out a black shiny book. Vincent grabbed it through the bars and Annalise laughed. "Ha, I can't get my finger off!" Annalise giggled and Vincent smiled. "I can't either!" Slowly, Annalise's and Vincent's hands began falling into the book. It wasn't funny anymore. "Vince, I think, I think I'm going in!" Slowly Vincent and Annalise both fell in, and the book fell flat onto the floor revealing its blank pages.

Chapter 1: Falling into the book "Hello!" Phantom called out to see if anyone could hear her as she walked. "..Besides that, where am I anyways..." She sighed walking about even more before coming to a stop and sitting on the ground. She seemed to be sitting on a road of some sort, but no cars seemed to be in sight, must have been an abandoned road. Or at least that's what she thought before she say a car coming and had to roll to the side and out of the way. "You jerk! Watch where you're going!" She yelled at the car who kept on drivin. "...Oh...oh I should've asked where I was." She sighed before looking around more. "HELLO IS ANYONE THERE?!" She shouted again before standing and dusting herself off and starting to walk more. "...Where is everyone?..." She mumbled

Chapter 1: Falling Into the Book
Meg wondered around untill she was to tired to walk. She sat in the sand and took off her shoes. 'Maybe if i modified this school uniform it wouldnt be so hot out.' She thought then reluctantly took off hre tights and ripped her skirt to make it mid thigh. Then she ripped the mid section off of her shirt. She couldhave cried over this. In all of her 6 years at the boarding school she has never hurt her uniform. She just sat here thinking of everything that has happened over the years. Reminising over good times and crying over the bad. Since she was alone she wasnt afarid to cry. Finaly she sprawled out on the sand and fell into a light sleep.

Chapter One: Falling into the Book.
Damien, age nineteen, sat under the light that was lit for him, flipping through a book. He was on the last chapter, and the android was on it's last string of hope-- a boy around the age of six, and whether he could reach the lever or no. Luckily, the kid saved the android, blah blah, happy ending. Damien snaps the book closed, a gust of air blowing the brown hair that was hanging in his face upwards. He then reached above his head to grab another book, pulling down a black one, no title on the cover. He opens it. "Blank?!" His rough, now aggravated voice growled, and he threw the book away. Or rather, tried to. It stuck to his fingers, as he twisted them in attempts to get it off. The he tried pushing with his other hand, and succeeded, allowing the originally caught hand to be freed. He sighed with relief, not realizing his other hand was now stuck. Then there was a pulling sensation, and Damien was gone, the only traces of him even being there were the four books spread onto the floor, a sleeping bag, and a ring that fell to the floor at the same time as the book, which dropped to the floor with a snap, and opened to a page with a roughly drawn teen falling into a vortex, before it faded away.
