STORY It is the year 2442. after the cataclysm of the year 2300 mankind was forced underground while the surface was destroyed by one natural disaster after another. in that century and a half, however, technology has soared to astounding new heights. in today's era, brave humans known as riders pilot powerful robot battle machines known as Armor X's, which come in many forms and sizes. usually hired as mercenaries to go to the surface, usually in search of relics. often battle's erupt between the riders. I never said it was an easy or safe job after all. however, soon events that will change history itself will come to pass, as the ever changing desert of the past, the new name of the surface ruins, begins to reveal secrets buried for over a century.

RULES
violaters will be shot. survivors will be shot again, then headband slapped. 1. all gaia rules apply. 2 all chao's rules apply 3. pm me your profile. 4. be loyal! no leaving after day 1!!! 5 okay, I shouldn't even have to say this, but keep it pg 13. NO FUGGING CYBERING!!!! 6. cursing is allowed but keep it under control. 7. break the rules once: warning. twice: warning and suspension for one week from this thread thrice: banned from this thread, and I'll go out of my way to get you banned from the guild! 8. my word is law. if I say it's against the rules, IT'S AGAINST THE RULES! 9. rule 8. also apllies to Chaos and Sukie if they join 10. No god modding. 11. no auto hits. even with seeker missles, give them a chance to put up their shields or something 12 special rulepass/fail: if you have to do something that is a last ditch effort, like say trying to use what's left of your energy for one big attack or dodge a huge attack with a damaged mech, you perform a 20 sided dice roll, then chooses high/low. if you choose high and it's an 11-20, you suceed and if it's a 1-10 you fail. if you chose low it's reversed. if something should be pass/ fail and you miss it, I'll let you know politely. 13. when you read and understand all theses rules, put the header under rules and before the first rule in your profile when you pm, it to me

He woke up to the light of the mourning sun, shining through his window. "Meh..." he turned over onto his side, thrrowing an arm over his face. He didn't feel like getting up today.
"Yanko! breakfast is ready!"
"Just five more minutes mommy..."
"Get your butt down here now young man!"
"Meh!..." He slowly got out of bed, getting dressed. He walked down the hall to the kitchen, and sat down to eat breakfast. The usual, SPAM and eggs...

Trey jumped out of the X Lyon and landed on his feet, handing the artifact over to the LATRO ARC representative
"another oustanding job as usual mr Darcoth!"
Trey just stood there staring up at the man and cleared his throat.
"ah yes, your pay. here you go."
Trey took the money, counted it quickly as the man turned to leave and grabbed the back of his collar, then cleared his throat again
"ah sorry...." he handed Trey another feww bills "Must have dropped it...."
"right." Trey took the money "pleasure doing business with you"
he let the man go

"we will pay double your normal fee if you destroy the new TIEM & PARTNERS bio lab on the surface"
"fine, send the coordinates to my Armor in transit."

He snuck out to his mecha. It seemed like an ordinary Jet. something that noone flew anymore. He hopped in, putting his helmet on, and revved the engine. Hetook off, thrugh a secrewt tunnel, headeding for the surface.

Trey's mech was in transit to the given coordinates, moving fast. he gunned the engine just for the fun of it and the colony came into view. it was abandoned for the weekend, all the construction workers home for the weekend. a scan showed it was abandoned and there would be no casualties

((Ok.. so I am finaly on... smile ))
Karl finished his X armor last upgrades. "Heh. I did good job... maybe it is not the best you can find, but who cares?" he slowly entered the cockpit andlooked at screens which surounded him. "Hmm... I was kinda short of computers, but after all I can do most of calculations from my head. But I must get some UI into it... Well I suppose it is time to search..." he pushed few butons and they bliked with green light. "Heh. All systems on-line." he turned back at the lab and yelled "I am leaving, professor!" he closed the cockpit and headed to the surface.
