My friend played and sang this song (which he wrote) solo on his acoustic guitar to me one day, and the first thing I thought was "I could make you a bassline."
We decided to make an impromptu band and record the song with a couple other guys for the hell of it today. I called dibs on bass, which probably got my friend who recently picked it up pissed, 'cause I bet he wanted to play it.
Yeah, I know I need to work on my plucking. Sue me. xD
Chances are we're going to redo it sometime, with a drummer, electric guitar by me, letting my other friend play the bass, and probably some amplification for him.
