Hmm. With their length it could be a breaking issue no matter what you do. My thought would be to make the from super sculpy, or some other chip/shatter resistant clay. (make sure it says chip and shatter resistant on the packaging) and form each one with sort of 'finger cap' that fits over the end of your fingers. Then get the glove you plan to use (hopefully not expencive) and cut a hole in the end of each finger just large enough to slide the claw itself through, use a basic whip stitch to make sure the hole won't tear and become to large. Then just put the claws on your fingers and slide them through the holes of the glove fingers, and the glove should hold them on.
You'd need the finger cap to be winder than the claw, but from what I see, they look like they are anyhow. Forgive the crappy drawing, but I whipped this up for you, to show what I mean. The blue being the finger, the black the claw and the red the glove overtop of it. If you don't get what I'm trying to say from my crappy drawing let me know, i'll try to explain better
