Last night I played Melee for the first time since Brawl came out and oh man, I failed hard. People I used to be able to 2-3 stock consistently were able to beat me with little problem and I kept misjudging my spacing and walking into obvious combos, etc.
So yeah, Brawl ate my Melee skills and I'm not sure I can get them back! I wish I could get more practice in with Melee, but almost everyone I play with have moved on to Brawl. gonk

I've gone back at least once and the controls are so much looser and the characters are faster. It makes me miss that faster, less-heavy feeling Brawl took away.
