Who else here disagrees with economy? I don't mean America's failing, one-sided, controlling, destructive economy, but all systems of economy?

I just don't seem to follow the reasoning behind monetary systems. Supposedly, money is proof of labor- We are paid for work with money, the money proves we deserve to be members of the trade system. Of course, this seems flawed from the get-go, because money is anonymous, so you don't actually need to WORK to get money- You could steal it, sell drugs, hold people hostage, whatever.

But it seems to get more ridiculous as it gets more complex, and as the numbers go up. So, some people get a whole lot of this money stuff for owning property that people work in- That's the idea of a company- An owner hires people for less than they're worth and makes a profit from their labor. Some of these guys make billions of dollars, and use it to buy more workers and more contracts, to make more money. Now, if one of these massive companies fails, we have a problem, as seen with the bailout s**t. Millions of people lose jobs, the stocks crash.

But here's the kicker, the nail in the coffin- The economy fails because of itself here. Because the value of the dollar gets ******** up in this, nobody will buy. Since nobody buys, companies lose money and stop hiring. So, here comes the bailout, 700,000,000,000 dollars.

I find this really funny- Try saying this out loud.

"They're taking our money from us, to give it to the companies that failed in the first place, so that they can hire more workers so that we will buy from them so that they can hire more workers."

Think long and hard about this. Isn't that a little bit ******** up? Just a little bit?

I mean, this is just the proper functioning of an economy, this isn't even getting into "war contracts" or "bribery" or "lobbying" or the "10% of the population owning 80% of the wealth" level of ******** up, this is just the basic workings of the system.

Sure, we can survive under it. But germany survived under fascism. That doesn't mean it's a good system.

This is why I feel that it's not just buying capital that's a problem with capitalism, it's not just putting money on a pedestal- It's the entire system. The money is the source of the corruption, not just what people choose to do with it.
