I bet there's a lot of people out there looking for new music! I know I am. ._.
Add your favorite band to this forum along with a song (from YouTube) that you feel represents that band best as a whole. You can also add a comment about the band's music style/lyrics, what band you think they can best be compared to, etc.
If we get enough posts this could become a great forum for people desperately needing new music.

Guano Apes. Though at times it's difficult to tell whether or not the singer is really a female, they're still a good band. One of my favorite songs by them: "Big In Japan" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFojdQ8d7DYThey also have a few more emotional, slower things. But for the most part they're really good for when you need inspiration at a fast pace.

Well my favorite band ever is Nightwish! (weeeee, go Nightwish!)
Their best song is...all of them? I am dead serious, I can't really sit down and flat out say which of their songs is the best! It's impossible. My latest song obsession with them is between Dead Gardens, Creek Mary's Blood, and 7 Days to the Wolves, but that's just right now!
As for other bands, there's only a few: Falco, from Austria, The Black Mages, Tom Waits, The Crash Test Dummies...okay, more than a few, but still!

My favorite band is UVERworld ( As my name suggests) and their best song is Zero no Kotae. Yes, this is a Japanese band, and yes I am American, but I fell in love with them after watching DGM and saw the 4th opening, Gekidou. The third best of their songs. The second would have to be Chance!

Evanescence is definitely a good band, and Flyleaf as well. I would also recommend Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance. (Yay for my siggy xD)
