Welcome to Grand Hall. I'll be working on this, but for now I'm concentrating on getting the basic stuff out. You can go ahead and post, but keep in mind that it's not set in stone yet. I'm still adding/subtracting things as they occur to me.

((I was getting ready to suggest that we move it here... stressed )) Wiveri began to walk towards the living areas, checking behind him periodically to check if the strange two children were still there. He occasionaly nodded at a clanner he knew, or one of the few hired people. He took a left turn, eventually ending up at the living areas. Here, he stopped and looked at the two mysterious entities before him. "Are you two going to share a room, or would you rather live seperately?" He questioned, cocking his head to the left a couple inches. He swung two sets of keys in his hands- one in each, the keys to two rooms if they were seperate or two sets for the same. He kept the double of each keyset in his pocket, so that they couldn't lock everyone out and do something bad in there. He had no idea of what type of magic the items gave them, but this was just to be safe. Apparently, his wits were returning.

(Okay, sounds good, I just figured sooner was better than later since the quests will start soon. PIRATE! pirate )
"We can stay in the same room," Jack muttured. But he and Jill weren't paying much attention to Wiveri- they were marvelling at the beauty and size of the headquarters.
"This is amazing," Jill breathed.
(I hope you don't mind if I assume we're already at/inside/around the HQ, btw.)

*Yves followed quietly behind Wiveri and the two children relaxing a bit. It felt good to be back home. She grinned at a few of the people that they passed, then thought of something.*
Wiveri... *she raised her voice so that she could be heard better and gestured for one of the workers to come over.* Should we get some food for them? *she looked down at Jack and Jill* Are the two of you hungry? * she gave an inquizitive glance to Wiveri.*

"Food would be great, thanks," Jack said gratefully. "Don't go out of your way for us, though- we don't want to be a burden. But if you happen to have anything we could eat, I'm quite hungry."

*Yves smiled at the child and nodded to the man she had called over. S then looked up at Wiveri and grinned.* oh I'm sure that we can scrounge something from the kitchens. If they can keep stocked even with my midnight snacking then they should be able to feed two children. It's always good to fill ones belly before laying your head to rest... it helps you to sleep better.

Drittz had followed silently behind Wiveri all the way to the grand hall thinking about the events that would surely take place. As he stood at the end of the hall watching the children he heard Yves mention food. If you want Yves, I can help you make some food for them. It would be no trouble to me he said calmly, Before my father died. I used to help with the younger kids.[/]

*Yves turned to Drittz and flashed him a grateful smile.* Sure! Help is always welcome. *She turned back to Wiveri and gave a little wave as she turned* we'll be going to the kitchen for a moment and will be back with some food! would you like anything?

Wiveri zoned back in, slowly taking in the responses. "Food? Oh yes, have we got Food! We've enough that you can both have as much as you want!" He said, grinning. It was an ear-to-ear, genuine grin. "In fact, I'll help cook it." Wiveri turned a little and strode past the children, closing in on Drittz and Yves. "So you can both cook too, right? Then Drittz, could you make a salad? Yves, it would be nice if you could cook some cut chicken or ground beef. I'll get tortillas and grate some cheese, and then I'll make quesadillas! If that's what you all want." He said, taking a couple steps back and surveying the group.

"That sounds delicious," Jill said with a small smile, who had never heard of quesadillas- or salad, for that matter. "I love quesadillas." Jack nodded in agreement with a grin.

((I'm going to guess we have tortillas and cheese in a cooler of some kind. It IS a kitchen, anywho. Oh, and bye the way, I have a notice for my fellow clanners posting now. Deek, it'd be nice if you could drop the asterisks and try to type like this. Trust me, it looks tons better, and I'd really like if you could change that. Since you'll be doing that, quotations on the speech will have to go with it, which brings me to Drittz. I'd like if you could use a little better punctuation and put your speech in quotations, thoughts in italics. Thank you both for doing this.))
Wiveri ran to the kitchen, calling over his shoulder to the kids. "Hurry up if you want to eat!" He said, finally losing his grin. He dug through the cooler, finding a nice block of cheddar about a foot every way. He then set this on top of the tortillas, which were close by. Wiveri rummaged through the pots and pans, eventually finding a cheese grater- humming all the while. He began to slide the cheese along the grater, swiftly chopping it to bits, which is perfect for quesadillas.

(Excellent, let's move this along. Also, since it's probably not the most exciting thing to RP cooking- although maybe you don't agree with me- and the quests are coming up soon, I suggest we fast forward through the eating/cooking part, start getting Jack and Jill into their rooms, and maybe you can then gather your clan together and prepare for the quest (and introduce them to Jack and Jill if you'd like.) We should set an example for the other clans and be ready so we can really move this thing along. I'll let you decide how you want to go through with this, but just keep this in mind.)
Jack and Jill hurried forward, following him into the kitchen. They tried to hide their curiosity at the cooking- they had never seen food prepared before, as the adults in their world had always cooked food for the children. Jack paid close attention, seeing how the food was changed through heat and slicing. He was curious as to how the different foods could be manipulated, and also knew that sometime he and Jill may need to cook food for themselves.
