I missed like the first five episodes of the first season but it was good. The second season is even better

I noticed on the first ep of 2nd gig that one of the terrorists looks like that guy who uses hv bullets in a submachine gun in the first movie.

I thought Stand Alone Complex and both movies were good. Their were alot of parts in Stand Alone Complex that were confusing and I dident understand, but it was still good.

am I the only one that preferes the movies? I know the sieries are more popular.. but the movies are closer to the ideas of shirow masamune.. and the sieries are only a oav!

If you look at the GiTS work that follows the original movie the first few minutes or first episode has on of two things that are the same as the first minutes of the movie: either a helicopter fly-by as the first scene or Motoko using her optical camo while falling from a skyscraper.
