What do you celebrate, if any? Share fun traditions and presents! I got Once More With Feeling album for Hanukka today! (My family celebrates Chrismakka, dad's jewish, mom's christian) We're having the most delicious latkes today! And tonight I'm probably making S cookies too, which are egg yolk cookies in shapes of Christmas trees and stockings and letters.

Just realized, I forgot the food-eating holidays, Thanksgiving and Passover etc.

We do Christmas, but without the religious aspect really. I've been typecast as the one who is rabid about the tree, which is indeed one of my favorite parts of the holiday.
My mom makes Vanillekipferl for Christmas, which are my favorite cookies, so I love that about it. They're kind of like biscochitos*, but less spiced. A crumbly white cookie with ground almonds in the shape of a crescent that's rolled in powdered sugar. They are orgasmic.
We also always have bagels and lox for breakfast/brunch on Christmas day.
* = I love that Firefox likes to tell me that word should be "biochemists".

hay guys! I got Dr. Horrible DVD for Christmas! Really funny. Some things to note: the thing in the window is actually not a serenity model, but a bunch of pots and in the scene of "Everyone's a Hero," the girl in the glasses and wig next to the three groupies is Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Yeah I'm pretty bad. It's gotten to the point where I'm constantly listening to commentary the musical in the backround of my other windows on my laptop. I don't even open Itunes. xD I hope they release it on MP3 but not until they've sold more DVD's so they can make monies.
There are so many epic lines in it though. I don't want to spoil any of them but lets just say I made my first two icons in deviant art this weekend. They're that funny of lines, they deserve icons yes.
