Caellum strolled down the streets of Durem, looking all about with nothing to do. He'd been let him out to play because he'd been cooped up all Christmas because his owner's mother was allergic to dogs and he'd absolutely hated it. His owner had tried to buy him off with a steak and a long game of fetch but he just couldn't muster the joy he normally felt. When that door had finally let him out he'd felt like he'd been freed from prison and he didn't plan on going back for a good long while.
As he passed by the shop where all those people in black shopped, he paused and looked around. "Aye. This'll be a good spot as any to rest me feet a bit." He drawled before laying down.

"Julie? Julie, baby? Where'd you gooooo?" Snickers yapped as she wandered the streets, zipping to and fro between legs and dodging children's grabby hands. Her youngest daughter had wandered off a little farther from home this time, and Snickers was worried that something bad had happened to her. The house had become a bit crowded with the addition of Lenore's litter and Henry, but they had all forgotten Juliet's fear of big crowds.
Stopping near a trash can, panting, she flopped down for a rest before continuing to search, letting out a bark in the vain hope that Juliet would be near.

Hearing the bark, Cae looked up and saw a cocker spanial dashing around in a crazy fashion before she settled down. "Hmm, maybeh I should help the little lass." he muttered, climbing to his feet and walking toward her. When he stood before her, he looked down into her lovely ember eyes. "What's the matter dumplin'?" Cae asked kindly.

It took her a second to register what was talking to her, thinking he was Joey for a second. But after realizing she wagged her tail and bounced up, her ears perked a bit. "I'm looking for my little girl. She ran away." She said, her eyes still scanning the area. Finding nothing, she sat back down and looked up at the big dog, tilting her head. "My name is Snickers. What's yours?" she asked, her tail still wagging a mile a minute.

Cae smiled at the tail wag. This female was adorable! He knew that he'd feel the compulsion to help her even if he didn't already feel the urge to help her. "Me name's Caellum, but you can call me Cae. It's a pleasure to meet ye Snickers though I'd rather it have been under better cirumstances. Can I help ye find your missing pup?" he said in a very gental Irish accent.

"You talk funny! I like it!" She blurted out before covering her mouth with a paw, realizing too late that what she had said could be considered extremely rude. "Uhm...Sorry, REALLY sorry...um...It's nice to meet you, Cae. And i would LOVE any help!" She pranced around a little as she spoke, tripping a bit a few times but never falling. "Her name is Juliet and she looks like me but not exactly."

Cae laughed at the comment about his accent. "I'm Irish, Snickers, and I'll help you to the best of me ability." He grinned wide when she covered her mouth with her paw and uttered her apology. He loved how she was so embarrassed and excited at the same time. "What'd'ye say about lookin' for her now? We can probably find her by dark if we hurry." he said wonderingly.

She nodded and started towards the curb, stopping there. "She'd probably go hiding somewhere where there's no people or crowds...Do you know any place like that, Cae?" She asked, once again worried. "I hope we find my baby before dark..."

"Aye. The park is mostly empty this time of day. Thas the only place I can think of." Cae said thoughtfully. He didn't know of many places or anything else but he'd do the best he could.
