Summary:
In the student council of Kyuuen Academy are President Katherine Persephone and Vice President Rikku Wang. In a new year,Rikku is posting flyers of new activities;Choir and Art classes while Katherine(or Kat for short) is met up with Hikari(or Kari for short) Tskiomi. During the route around the school of posting flyers,Rikku bumps into a boy named Hiro while taking a break playing piano. They are introduced to eachother,but are later on walking together in a tour.

((no need to explain the specifics,only important facts,right?))

Rikku and Hiro soon seperate,forcing Rikku to bump into Lance,Hikari Tskiomi's brother. They talk,and soon go to an Art meeting,though it was only for information,not really a class. Lance "shows his power to Rikku and runs away,afraid his powers will upset anyone. Rikku runs too,crying,,and eventually convinces Lance to stay.

Hikari,meanwhile,met up with Kat along with Lance. Rikku who was following Lance because of his sudden strange behavior in the Art room,had realized she actually liked Lance--even though it was the first day. Crying when she saw how Lance and Kat interacted so perfectly together,the others see her and chase her,hoping she would understand that Kat and Lance were only just friends and nothing more.

Rikku and Lance are finally alone,with Kat and Kari gone. They decide to here Rikku play music on the piano,but after the song,something in Lance's past is triggering his uneasiness of loving someone,so he makes up an excuse and goes to his own dorm to unpack. But when Hikari faints during her meeting with Kat,Lance senses it and finds out that Kat and Hikari were talking about his past about loving a girl. Not being as mad,he shrugs it off.

Rikku was in the room with an active spell allowing her to not be seen,so is distraught when she hears about Lance's past,making him do something he didn't want to. Singing a song her loudest with lyrics that matched her feelings right there and then in her life,Lance flees again and sees Rikku crying,telling her the truth. Kat,in the office,feels that she does not have the freedom to love anybody--including Lance--so instead meets with Kyo,the prince of Darkness and leaves to prepare for her arranged marriage with Kyo.

Rikku knows about Kyo,but had said before that Lance must love Kat. But hearing Kat nearby,she realizes she had said a mistake and kisses Lance to make up for her big mistake,saving Kat and Lance from a terrible fate that would've been caused by Kyo. Kat leaves with Kyo,and causes Rikku,Hikari,Bella (Rikku's old friend who just transfered in),and Lance to save her in a Black Mercedes Guard. They go to a masquearade and escape but with an injured Kat and Lance,leaving Kyo alive for revenge.

Back at Kyuuen Academy with Kat and Lance in an infirmary,Ronan Black,a student teleports Kat to a dark abyss where she will not suffer as much. Rikku is with Lance and does not notice this,but bonds with Lance in the short time they had together. With a large cut on her back from the masquearde ball,Rikku faints and Lance wakes up,assisting her into the bed he was in. She wakes up and Lance teleports to the abyss without Kari or Rikku. Rikku is confused and decides to follow Lance to the abyss while forbidding Kari and Bella to follow her.

The two meet in the abyss,and are togetehr once again after fighting an angry group of zombies. The girls who were forbidden to follow Rikku and Lance go anyway and assist the others in fighting the zombies. After fighting,they head into a strange tunnel where Rikku's dark side is realeased;only for 5 minutes. During that five minutes,she injures Lance,Kari,and Bella,teleporting to a human infested area in order to keep her friends safe.

Lance finds Kat before Rikku teleports and is confused when he sees she has disappeared. Rikku calls Lance on her cellphone and Lance ends their relationship,breaking Rikku's heart.Rikku later teleports to Kyo,the prince of darkness and asked him for a death wish,but before his reply,Bella teleports Rikku back to the academy where Lance and Kari were.

Rikku gives Lance a last present--her ring--before going off to the cafeteria,her dark side unleashed once again. Bella encounters Rikku and sets a spell on her,causing her to be blind for 24 hours. After the 24 hours,Rikku does not remember anything except Kat,Hikari and Kyuuen Academy,including her vampiric race was forgotten.

She meets with the others and regains her memories of Lance,her love,and her vampiric race speedily. Being Christmas in both the RP and in real time,Rikku gives the characters presents and waits until the next day when festivities are being held--Thhe Winter Carnival and Dance.
