Fantasy/Comedy. Anything else tends to bore or depress me.

In general I like Fantasy, but I enjoy other things as well. I really appreciate classics that represent realistic fiction in a non-cheesy fashion and I tend to like the side of fantasy that is reality based to a degree. I like anything that's somewhat cryptic and has a lot of symbolism that is left to the reader to find out. I guess a combination of that would make up my ideal genre; there are only a couple of books that have actually lived up to it, but typically I'll enjoy any genre. Wow, that got really long winded and complicated and slightly off-subject. rolleyes

Definitely Fantasy/Fiction. However, I do like Comedy, Adventure, Action, some slight Crime elements, oh, and some Big Brother-esque thingies, whatever they're called, like 1984 (I think. XD). XD I'm also currently enjoying disecting Lord of the Flies (Whatever genre that is) in my English GCSE. XD

Romantic Realism
"I am a Romantic in the sense that I present men as they ought to be. I am Realistic in the sense that I place them here and now and on this earth."

You know it actaully depends on my mood at the time, which might explain why I commonly have two or three books on the go at once.
But generally I love science fiction, fantasy, action adventure, comedy and a good old who-dunnit. So most things really. lol
I don't really like horror, my imagination doesn't need any help at all thank you. wink
