The Rules

2. Please use the provided form and try to complete all parts of the form.
3. Do not discourage anyone from entering the contest.
4. Try to be original, we don't want to see everyone submitting the name John or Anna for the kitten.

Okay, now, as for the contest, we've decided to do a naming contest. Basically, you will pick out a name that you think suits the kitten, give us the meaning of the name, and why you think it suits the kitten, and then Peep and I will pick out which one we think suits the kitten the best.

Meaning of the Name: Clever Trickster
Why you chose that Name: The kitten's mask reminded me of a racoon's and racoons are ofter thought of as clever thieves. However, the dots next to the eyes also reminded me of the butterfly who's markings look like the eyes of an owls and this is where I got trickster. Also, the name Pratt is fairly unique.

Why you chose that Name: I've chosen the name Hyde since you use a mask to hide the features of your face. The reason I've went with the 'y' spelling inside of the 'i' one is to make it more name-like.

Due to its Greco-Roman roots, the name bears connotations of heroism. However, in the South of America, the name was used as a slave name.
Why you chose that Name: For this kitten, I just thought, "Italy!" because it reminded me the book, "The Thief Lord" which takes place in Venice, Italy and the name is that of the "Thief Lord" himself. And for me, this whole cat family looks as though they would live there. (They're gorgeous, by the way! Best cat family I've EVER seen!) I had other names in mind, but for this kitten it just seemed to fit. :3

So I was thinking since his dad was called Tuxedo and his borther was called Masquerade, i though why not call him something that dealing with a Masquerade!
Since his dad name go with this theme, why can't his :3
So i though about a mask and it had to look elegant because it going to be at a masquerade!

Meaning of the Name: "right hand" in Latin
Why you chose that Name: The kitten's right foreleg is noticeably different from the others in that it has a very long orange stocking which caught my attention. Also, another connotation that the name Dextera has is that of being indespensible, like being someone's right hand, and this kitten seems like she wouldn't be satisfied being a decorative pet, and would rather have something to do, such as being a mouser.
