How to Make a Petition Please do not post in this thread. For those who want to make a petition but do not know how to, I will tell you the basics of what you need to know and how to make them.
Step 1
First thing you should know is what you want to make the petition about. For that, there are different types of petitions below.
New Idea Petition- This is for if you come up with something that you know others will enjoy and you would like to see it happen in this guild. Most of the time, if the petition has been written of as accepted by me, then you will be the one who will have to make it happen with my help (If creating a new subforum, you donate the gold, I buy the subforum and you name it. If creating a sticky/announcement thread, you make it and I change it to a sticky/announcement).
Guild Change Petition- This is for if you do not like a certain way how I run the guild and you would like it to be changed. If most of the guild posts, I will sign it in acceptance and make it happen. With your help of course.

Step 2 After figuring out which petition you are going to make, you will need to come up with things to include in the petition. Write them down on a piece of paper for now.
Basic things to include are: *what it is that you are making a petition for *a list of what you are going to include in what you are doing after it is accepted *a list of things that are going to change after it is accepted (Guild Change Petitions only) *examples of what it will be like *comparisans before and after the change (Guild Change Petitions only) *an Table of Contents (a list of all the posts that are included in the petition) *a list of people who sign (you don't know who is going to sign yet but keep this in mind when you make the thread) *make your thread exciting: include emoticons, pictures and you might want to change some of your type to different colors when making your thread and try to make your petition look sophisticated (as in you are smart)

Step 3 Now that you know what you are going to, it's time to make the actual thread.
Post 1:
For the first/main post (this is the post where you put the title of the thread), make sure you put your title along with the word 'Petition' so that people will know that it is a petition and what that petition is about. Now you need to make an introduction to your petition (a paragraph to what you are fighting for aka a summary of all the examples) and then the Table of Contents (you can also call it index or navigation or anything that you can come up with). If you are not sure how to make one, just use this code:Post 1 ~ Introduction and Index Post 2 ~ Benefits and Concerns Post 3 ~ Signers Post 2:
This is where you need to put the pros and cons of your idea.
Post 3:
When someone who has just signed the petition, you need to put their name here. That way, they will not lose track if they had signed your petition or not. You may put the names in any order you like.
