-Alkali Lake-
A large dam with an old abandon research facility behind it holds back this large lake up in the Canada’s. Documents have shown that the facility below the lake use to experiment on mutants in the 1970’s. Rumors of the mutants that were experiments would become to be called the Weapon X. Weapon X operated through Canada's Department K and was directed by Professor Thorton. At his side were Dr. Abraham Cornelius, Dr. Carol Hines and Dr. Dale Rice. John Sublime, the director of Weapon Plus, was always behind the scenes. Some of the work of Weapon X was based on the experiments detailed on the journals of Nazi scientist Nathan Essex, which were obtained by Weapon Plus after the end of World War II.
Weapon X is a fictional clandestine government project in the Marvel Universe conducted by the Canadian Government's Department K (and secretly funded by the U.S. government) which turns willing and unwilling beings into living weapons. The project often captures mutants and experiments on them to enhance their superpowers and also mutates baseline humans.
Colonel William Stryker is a military scientist who invented the adamantium bonding process and has performed other experiments on mutants, such as developing a mind-controlling drug. The members of Weapon X and the subject experimented on, that remember know of this. Colonel William Stryker is now in charge of the Weapon X program that is supposed to be shutdown.

After the short time it took the blackbird to reach its maximum speed turning the world below into a haze of greens and blues. with almost no conversion going on in the cabin William almost felt like he was going on a suicide mission. But he still could no pass the feeling of excitement. maybe his one act could be the one thing that gets Katie to accept him again if he can show hes not the monster she thinks he is, maybe just maybe.
"Strap in boy's" Rouges voice calls out over the PA Speakers as she pulls them out of supersonic flight and kicks on the stealth systems. with a thick cloud cover and a heavy rain her warning was well deserved as turbulence was their best friend for the next five minuets till the craft landed on the far shores of the lake hiding in the trees.
"Did they notice us?" William asks slightly worried as he moves into the cockpit directing his question to Rouge as respectfully as possible.

Rogue shook her head after remain quiet for a few seconds. "No," she muttered, "Really wished Stormy was here. She would be darn helpful right about now and before. Wondered where that gal is."
Rogue unclicked her belt and moved towards the hatch door. Gambit suddenly propped his legs up on the seat across from him, directly infront of her, "Why not let the boy go in alone first. If he gets into trouble, we can save him."
Beast nodded slightly, "His powers would be wise to use and would be wise not to draw attention that we would not want. To attempt to free the young woman without them knowing and take her back to the mansion without them having a clue as to where she is. We go in there and make ourselves known, then they will know where and how to find her once again."
Rogue forcefully moved Gambit as he smiled at her. "Ow, chere'!" "Oh shut up," said Rogue as she looked at William. "Okay, William...go in but I want you the radio every five minute ya hear me." Rogue placed her hands on hips to prove her point. She was not someone you wanted to do a battle of strengths with.

"Does it seam like i have much of a choice do i?" He asks shrugging his shoulders. but he smile on his face said he was in full support of her idea. "Every five minuets got it." HE comments quietly as he walks towards the hatch control's.

"Let us hope your wrong Rouge." William thinks to himself as he walks out he hatch and he hears it close behind him. Letting out a long and drawn out breath he looks across the lake to the damn.
"Here we go." HE whispers as he starts into a run heading straight for the water. leaping off he short cliff face he waits till his body gets submerged beneath he water before activating his power. standing in he water as if he was in the air he starts into a dead sprint running through the water heading right for the stone walls in front of him hoping the water would mask his approach for most of he time. this was no going to be easy or fun. his breath would only last so long when he was like his as would his ability to hold his shifted state. and rapid shifts were only possible for about his first 15 minuets of usage so if he got into a gun fight he might be in trouble.

A old man drummed his fingers along his desk, his mind racing. Files were scattered about over the wooden top. In them pictures of a young woman with various medical and research reports about her fill the files to the brimes. "Quite interesting," he whispered to himself sounding like boy that had just gotten a new toy. The problem was his new toy didn't come with an instruction manuel, and how he so didn't want to break it. He lost his lost one fifty years ago sadly, but this one was proving to be good replacement.
"Sir," sounded off suddenly behind him. Still he remain motionless as he picked up a file and opened it, looking through it from the bottom of his glasses, "This had better be good son." "We have reports of an unsual underwater disterbances. The security camera are showing some sort of blur in the water about five minutes ago. It only lasted a second before vanishing," stated the soldier quickly. He didn't know why the camspecialist insisted on this being told to head guy. Did look like anything to him. This suddenly had the man attention, "Blurs...are not normal for underwater activity. Put us on level 5 alert and return to your post."
"But sir, that level of alert is if we are under attack by mutants," stated the soldier in disbelif. "...and no one knows them better than me," said the man as he walked passed the soldier and out the door. "Level 5," said the man to the soldiers outside that were waiting outside his office, "Oh and get rid of him." Gun fire quickly sounded off behind him as he made his way down the levels. "I haven't lived this long for reason and your not about to change that boy," said the man as he step into an elevator.
Despite being on level 5 alert the base was as quiet as a mouse. The man had made his way quickly the lowest part of the base. There a door mark with level 6 clearance and alert stood before him, "Move her...now, then leave her. Stand on guard. Shot anyone that comes, even if it is me, until the alert is removed." If it was mutant, he had a good idea as to what they might be looking for. He may have a new test subject after all.
She flinched as the door to her cell open, the bright light from the outside hurted her eyes. In an attempt to move away from the men that were entering her cell she pressed herself against the wall as much as she possibly could. It wasn't far or near enough. She was quickly adorn some torn rags that clung to her body like a bathroom towel and was place into small white room. After that everything when silent again.

"Ten minuets." William thought to himself as his hands finally grace he dams wall. Looking around for a moment he could see a few holes used for cameras, even though the ones he could see were far to old to be of any use he figured he was going to be spotted vary quickly if no already. knowing he was far over due for hi check in he pushed himself into the dams surface and found himself stepping into a small maintenance room. letting his body go solid for the first time during his mission. gasping for air as if her had been holding his breath the hole time he dropped to his knees sucking as much air into his lungs as he could as his hand found its way o his neck switching on his radio.
"Rouge, this is William. reporting in, sorry for he long wait." he whispers softly before switching his radio off.getting to his feet he wonders into the hall ways. getting surprised by the level of silence in the facility bu he was more surprised by the shear size of the generators that were near by him.
"his place is no mere hydro dam" he comments to himself silently as he sets out into he walls and millions of rooms. keeping himself as quiet as he could as he slowly worked his way down the floors avoiding what paroles he did notice by hiding inside the cores of he walls till they passed.

"Flood the channels. He may be able to phase through things, but it appears to have...limitations," the man smiled as he looked that entery point where William came in on camera gasping for breath, "Lets make sure his exit is to far away for his lungs to hold out."
Large gates suddenly began to close around William. He could hear the water suddenly pounding against them and wonder why for some reason. Spill ways were not usually used unless the dam was in need to relieve pressure. The dam seem to be in perfect, if not supreme shape.
"Good...now if you excuse me. I need to see our lady guest. Don't lose him." With that the old man left the survilence room. The next room he entered was where the young woman was being held. "Hello my dear," He said as he held up a small vial and shook it, "Time for the hands on approach."

"Well this is new." William comments to himself feeling a small twinge of fear bu he was not overly worried about it. walking towards he freshly closed doors his face bore a small smile.
"Deeper is it?" HE asks before shifting again and jumping straight through the floor dropping levels like a missile stopping finally in a small crawl space just above he security floor. "I like it he thinks as he start crawling around trying to find a camera room figuring that it would make his job a bit faster, knowing he did not have to worry about any cameras here. "Rouge, what kind of blueprints do we have on his place?" he asks into his radio

Rogue was quick to bring the blueprints up, "I doubt they be any good to you hun. They are pretty dang old and sur' to have change a few things down in yonder." She began to look around at them before the blackbird had warnings flashing on and off in the cockpit, "Crap! How did they...?"
Gambit was ahead of her as he jumped into the cockpit, "Looks likes our recruit got spotted. We have multiple groups of men armed to the teeth heading straight for us Chere'." Rogue growled back into her com link, "You have about five minutes kiddo. Seem you got spotted and their looking for your ride. W'll take care of them but I am sure they have a set radio in time as well." "...and when they miss it," finished Gambit, "Things are going to get lively. Hm...maybe they might let by-gones be by-gones if we bring the dip to this party?"
Beast shook his head, "I don't think that will help Gambit. It appears that the man in charge is very good at what he does. He probably knew the moment William entered the complex and purposely had it quiet and unaware looking...to let him search on while they made sure he was alone and if not, dealt with any back up he may have had. Very smart indeed." Beast looked up at Rogue and Gambit that were glaring at him, "A compliement is due surely for it was an indeed smart plan. The hunters now seem to be the prey." The look continue, "Prehaps we should focus on the task at hand now...hm?"
Rogue shook her head, "You hear all of that sug'. Get a move on. You can't find her in the next couple of minute get your arse out of...." "Might prove to be harder that expected," said Gambit, "They filled up the spill ways and now they are slowly filling up the top levels as well. Unless you can hold your breath for a long period of time...then we got a really big problem." Beast jumped up to screen showing the water being pumped into the compound, "How did we not see this before?" "It was too suttle...you were right...the b*****d got skills and smarts. We may need to bring more than dip..."
Gambit sat down in his seat quickly as Rogue marched up to him, "s**t, this is going exactly as I feared. William, you better find a darn too place to hid. We may have no choice but to run with out tails between our legs back to the mansion until we get reinforcements sug." Beast waved his hand to get her attention, "Maybe not...William continue one and see if you can find her. She may very well be your key to getting out of there."

"Heh. id hate to tell you this in such a place rouge, bu my breath is no what pulls me out of my state." HE commetns softly agreeing with Best completely.
Sticking his head through the ceiling slightly he looked around on he few monitors of he security room he had stumbled upon as hey were jabbering on. "There she is..." He thinks as he pulls his head back into the ceiling the few guards being unaware of him. "Lets see that was........ this way." Having pulled himself out of his shift he started crawling over the few pipes and various other objects that would run into his head and body. eventually he poked his head through a a surprisingly white wall. looking around like he was some sort of zombie as he spun his head around in a full circle before he started glaceing around he actual room for the girls body like he had seen her on the screen.

"Sir, you were right. He came here like you said, they know now. We changed out camera scaners as order and can now barely see the trail he leaves behind each time he...he...he...goes ghostly? He going for the girl," said the soldier in the survilence room. Another camera lit up as William phased again leaving the small amount of temporary residue for them to see for a split second. "He's about three floors above you, to your west. Orders?"
The old man pulled away slightly from the woman on the floor, who remain motionless. He study the used needle in his hand before discarding it, "No, don't worry about him. Just deal with will ones on top. I know their there." He kneeled down to the young woman and smiling at her as she looked up at him, as if she was expecting something, "A little birdy told me."

"Hua... i could have sworn that this was the room...down?" HE thinks to himself as he steps out into the room and goes solid for a few minuets taking a quick breather before doing hi same old trick, and plum its down through he floors stopping just above the room where Caitlin was being held in.
"Rouge, how much time can you give me? i've only got few places left to look in and then ill be fresh out of ideas." HE whispers into his mic as he slowly slides his head through he concrete. "There She Is!!!!" HE screams to himself as he rips his head back into he crawl space. "She's here... shes right here!" Still whispering his heart was finally racing like a jackrabbit in a full sprint. "Rouge..." HE commetns a bi louder as he tries to get a hold of his body. "I found her."
