This is more of a just comparing perspectives than anything else.
The comparison I wish to make is conducting certain methods or rituals. In that subject, have any of you ever conducted a ritual (or comparable) of any sort, just say to gain a bit of clarity, or to help you recognize which path may be most suited for you; then after a few months and after it has fell into your subconscious and you have not brought it up consciously for a few months.
Then you find yourself where you were hoping to be after an elapsed period of time, as though you had to let it drift from your memory to initiate in purpose?
Maybe I described this strangely?
It's just I personally more apt to bringing change with conscious effort than unconscious.
Opinions, shared thoughts? Let me know! v`v
What you're describing sounds kind of like the idea behind letting sigils drop from your conscious, nitpicky mind into the subconscious mind, which helps them take effect. I think Ray Sherwin described it as NonAttached NonDisinterest or something similar.
In the context of sigils, I've had it happen, though for full rituals, I don't think so. I guess it's easier to forget a five-minute-sigil-firing than a full blown rite or something?
