Jamie and the Spiederman Mind Explosion are at a downtown warehouse where Jamie has finally booked time for the band to record. It's a little dusty; the sound isn't ideal; and they're working with a four-track, but it's something. Just as the band's perfecting the quiet ending to a song on the eighth take, Jamie storms in with Jude trailing behind, ruining the recording. It turns out Jamie has been waiting for Spied to show up for a recording session at G Major with Jude. Meanwhile, Joy waits outside, ear pressed to the door.
