-cough- I know this is the second shrine, but I adore Guy 8DD He's just there for everyone to love -huggles Guy plushie-
Guy Cecil, AKA Gailardia Galan Gardios was a count from Hod. He's the last surviving member of the Gardios Family. He was also Van's master, and planned to destroy the Fabre House after the Hod War. He has a phobia of women because of his sister and his female maids, who protected him from being slaughtered. He's an easy-going swordsman who can sweet-talk without thinking. Hahaha! When it comes to Hod names, Guy's is pretty easy.
I'm making a Guy plushie!!! I can't wait to finish it! My friends and I all cosplay from Tales (I'm Guy, of course), and I made all of us corresponding plushies for Christmas.

I want one! 4laugh My two friends and me are coslplaying as Toa as well. I'm being Tear ( because to be frank, She acts excatly like I do. IT's actually quite scary sometimes ) while the other two are going as Guy and Luke. ( we're working on trying to convince my sis to be Anise ninja )

Yeah, we have everyone EXCEPT for Natalia. Quite frankly, none of us like her, either. EEEP! I love cosplaying them so much! When I cosplayed Guy at Fanime last year, at one point I was chased all around outside by a pack of about six girls before I was tackled to the ground. What did my friends do? Point, laugh, and take pictures. It was rather amusing.

......sad to say.. i might have been one of those girls >-> ( If i went to the con that is) Lol I think the one reason he has so many fangirls in the first place is because it's just amussing to mess with him.
But on the other hand... I might have been like your friends too.

I make and modify most things. The shirt was a modified plain white shirt, and the pants were just a plain pair of pants. I made the vest, belts, spats, and choker, though. The gloves... well, I didn't have time to make the gloves, so those are just work gloves. I really don't like them, though. I also designed the wig myself. Here's a better picture. OMG?! Guy got replicated? 0_o..... SWEET! (lol)
Anyway, yes most people do make them but.... sometimes the costumes are really hard to make. ( depending on how many pieces you need). I've really only made one costume so far and that was my Yuna ( from ffx) one I made for halloween 2 years ago, and thas like making a skirt compared to Tear's! sweatdrop I'm making her costume right now and the main part of the body is giving me a head ache. I has to trace one of my tunics to get the body right and free hand the rest of the dress... I came out pretty good. Then I'm just sewing the front and back to an old brown tank top and sewing onthe rest.
Luckly I have the same hair and eye color as her XD so I don't have to wear a wig. ( unlike my friend going as Guy.. her costume is really good, but it looks like Guy when crazy with hair die. It's neon yellow >~<) But my hair is nowhere near as long as hers ( if anything it's the same lenght as Jade's) , so i'm just going to be Tear with a "hair cut".
If you're interested in cosplay here's my advice. Don't worry if it's not perfect, and don't go wasting lots of money on it. Xinitia is right - try working things that are close to the parts you need and maybe some things you can re-use

ROFL. That's so awesome. Well for me, without wearing a wig or contacts, I'd have to be Anise. But man, it looks difficult with all of the sewing. I hardly even touch a needle. In fact, the only thing I've sowed together was... uhh... a button to a shirt. ROFL -FAIL-
But it looks so good! I also can't really go to animecons or anything D: Gotta wait a few years. Wee.
NOW TELL ME. WHY IS IT THAT YOU LOVE GUY.

@ Yuna: The only way that I can sew really complex cosplays is if my mom helps me. She is amazing!!!!
Back to Guy....,
A better thing to say is how can we NOT like Guy? I mean, he's totally awesome! Not only does he have his really neat, fast attacks, he's personality is awesome, too! He's really nice and funny!

Except he screams and runs away when you try to hug him. sweatdrop ( but it's still fun to chase him XD)
i pretty much like him for the same reasons.
1) cute, sweet and funny.
2.) awsome attacks!( Tempest is my fav >D )
3) 'have you seen him in his swimsuite? .enought said.
and 4) He's voice by pretty much my favorite VA ever! (lol I've liked Johnny yong Bosch since he did Kiba in Wolf's rain.... well okay most likely since he was in power rangers, - but I was like 3 or 5 back then. ninja )
But I can't Listen to Asch with out making sure I'm not watching Naruto. ( He seriously should meet Sasuke >_>)

Hahaha! Yeah, the two Sir Emo's would get along well.
I forgot that Jonny Bosch was his VA!!!! I loved the Power Rangers!!!!
Anywho, what's your favorite cutscene with Guy?
Mine is either when he saves Luke "Enter the Amazing Guy" or the spa scene or when he punches Luke.
