The boy I love is named Alex. Him and I were friends for 3-4 years before we dated. He was having a big issue in late January of 2008, and we became really close friends. We started dating in May. We broke up in October. He told me it was because of his grades. He was spending so much time with me that he was doing bad in 3 or 4 classes. His father (his parents are divorced) called him on the phone one night and screamed at him. Afterwards, he called me and broke up with me. We live in the same neighborhood, at the same bus stop. His mother and his family loves me. I go over his house afterschool almost everyday and sometimes I go over on the weekends. We're good friends, but it can be painful at times. About a month and a half ago, we were on the phone and he pretty much said that he didn't like me anymore. I told him I still liked him, he said he was tired of me holding onto so much. About 3 weeks ago, my friend Laura asked him if he liked me and he said he "didn't really know." Last night my friend Camille saw him in the mall, her and I haven't talked in a while, so she asked him if he was still dating me. He told her no but said that he missed me. She said he got really sad after she asked it.
It's possible that he's moving at the end of this school year with his dad. He'd be moving to California. We live in Maryland. He told me on the phone while he was away. I told him I had to tell him the same thing he told me when I was considering moving to Chicago. He told me "I want to be selfish, tell you to stay here with me, but if it makes you happy, then you gotta do it." I basically told him the same thing. Before I could get it all out, he says "I knew you wouldn't go." I asked him how he knew and he said "Well, it's not that I didn't know, it's that I didn't want to imagine my life without you in it."
I don't really know how to ever act anymore around him. I've been trying to just act like myself, act like we're friends, act like nothing ever happened.
Needless to say, this can be painful at times.
I gave him a bracelet at Christmas, so I'm curious to see how long he'll be wearing it. I saw him on New Year's Eve and he was still wearing it. He usually only wears things he gets from girls for a week or so, then he ends up losing them or giving them to his mom, lol.

He took me and all of the other females off his top. Glad to know my friendship doesn't mean s**t when some stupid mall-goth chick comes along.
