Welcome to the Recruitment page! Here, we outline the basic idea of the Almeddan army and explain how you might be able to get in on the fun. The Almeddan Army is a group of like-minded people gathering to create a 'war machine' on Gaia. Of course, there's no real war here, but the idea still stands!

If you want to join, you'll first have to look over a few things and do a bit of reading (not everything, though!). First, you must decide which House you'll join.

But what is a 'House'? Consider America- not only is America one large and considerably powerful country, it's also made up of smaller, weaker states as well. A 'House' in this case is simply another word for a group of people, a clan of individuals.

There are five separate 'Houses' in Almedda, each one with it's own color and purpose. No matter who you are, there should be a house suited for your personality, so take some time to look over these five options. Then fill out the simple information beneath and prepare to become an Almeddan!




The Five Houses of Almedda

House of Accerso: This is the House of Summoning. It's members wear the color red proudly, as it echoes the passionate crimson of blood. Accersans often enjoy raising, summoning, or breeding animals and all other forms of life.

House of Corporis: This is the House of Necromancy. It's members don black to express their unity with death. The members of this House are often the most dangerous Almeddans around, and always the most evil.

House of Evinco: This is the House of Combat. Evincan warriors wear green amidst their armor and weaponry to serve as rudimentary camouflage in the field. These deadly and vital components of the Almeddan Army are never overlooked.

House of Veneficus: This is the House of Magic. Blue is used by the great Venefican magicians, as the color represents nobility and wisdom- two traits this House has no shortage of. The wisest and sturdiest Almeddans are drawn here.

House of Curatio: This is the House of Healing. White is worn by most Curatian healers as a testament to their pure hearts and cleansed souls. The House of Curatio plays an important part in diplomatic affairs, as well, and is home to the kindest Almeddans.






If you're still interested in joining the Almeddan Army and have decided which House appeals to you the most, please follow these simple steps to become a full fledged Almeddan!

1) Respond to this thread with the following information:
- House (Accerso, Corporis, Veneficus, Curatio, or Evinco):
- Khefs, if you're already a member of Almedda:


2) If we like you, you'll probably become a member of the house you asked to join. This will grant you access to the private, House-exclusive guild. Since each House of Almedda has it's own private guild, you'll be able to chat with your fellow House-mates, or talk to Almeddans as a whole here in the common guild. If you're accepted into Almedda, we will send you an invite from your House guild. Once in, you'll be able to see the real workings of the Almeddan Empire, and advance in rank.

Ranking System:

In addition to having five Houses of Almedda, we also have three ranks (called khefs) within each House. Consider these khefs as levels - as you become more popular and useful, your 'level' increases and you gain more ranks and privileges. To advance your ranking, you usually have to complete a specific task, which is determined by your superiors.


First Khef: The lowest Khef. Anyone who is accepted into a House begins at this Khef.



Second Khef: The middle Khef. Considered seasoned members of their respective house, second Khef Almeddans are treated with respect and earn the privilege to join multiple Houses!

To obtain the Second Khef: You must speak with either a 'Final Khef' member of your house, the leader of your house (House Lord), or a leader of Almedda (High Lord), and perform the task they specify.


Final Khef: The highest Khef. These people should be treated with extreme respect and have the power to initialize a 'First Khef' member of their house to a 'Second Khef'. What's that mean? It means that if you're a new member of the house, you should look to the highest ranked 'Final Khef' members for an advancement.

To obtain the Final Khef: You must speak with the leader of your house (House Lord), or a leader of Almedda (High Lord), and perform the task they specify.





Multiple Houses:

It is entirely possible to get into more then one house, once you obtain the second khef. Simply fill out the form that you submitted to join the Almeddan army and the leaders of a certain house will be notified.






Leadership:

Want to become a leader, do ya?! It's not impossible, but it may take a bit of charisma. There are two distinct types of leaders in Almedda: High Lords, and House Lords.

House Lords: To become a House Lord, or the leader of a House of Almedda, you must have obtained the final khef in at least two Almeddan houses, including the one you wish to help lead.

High Lords: To become a High Lord, or one of the leaders of the entire Almeddan empire, you must have obtained the final khef in all Almeddan houses.
