Does anyone ever listen to music in a language they can't udnerstand? OR a cover of a good song done by someone from another country?
my story:
I'm asking becasue my friend was looknig for Hotel California online to download (i know, not good, but it wasn't me) anyways, she found a version and put it on a cd without listening to it, and boy was she surprised. IT turned out to be the FINNISH version! it soundedliek a polka with accordians and all! I was LAGUHIGN MY HEAD off! so tahts ym story..whats urs?
Also: got any really good songs in other languages? i know a couple that are So fun to try and sing. ^^ but i forget the names... sweatdrop

I listen to a fair bit of Dutch pop music.
There's a song that was done by the Dutch group/artist Blof with Counting Crows called 'Holiday in Spain'. It's in Dutch and English. It's really quite good. 3nodding

The only foreign music that I like tends to be the ones from other english speaking countries (UK, Australia), or foreign artists singing in english.

Afterimage Pogo Dont you think Foreign music is kind of misleading, I mean it's not foreign somewhere yes..thats true, but i couldn't think of another way to say it...i dont like calling it that iether...wait, does international work?.... That might work wink I figured that you meant music recorded in a language other than English. As far as music in other languages I listen to some Spanish language artists like Shakira (Who's Spanish albums IMO are actually more interesting than her English album.) also Rock En Espanol bands like Kinky and Aterciopelados. There's also Nena who's German and I enjoy Enya's Gaelic tracks.

I like a lot of anime and some JPop. Tho right now some of my favorite music is by Lodger. I DID download a couple of their songs (NOT the whole album I promise), but only because their CD isn't officially available in the US. I'm looking for a place to by it online where the international shipping isn't outrageous.
