Anyone else play Diamond and Pearl (and Platinum if you got the Japanese version I believe is out)? Yes, I know that it's been out for a while now, but I just started to trade globaly.
I got Pearl myself. If you play it, what do you think about it?
I have to say, from what I've seen, people in Japan know the power they have over rest of us. They want legendaries for level 1 pokemon. Nya....

Taking into consideration it's a Pokemon game, 4.5. I love the use of the Wi-Fi feature. You are able to trade with anyone in the world! I've got a few Pokemon from Japan, Germany, and France! The underground is quite fun with setting traps, digging for fossels (in other words, you can have muiltiple "extinct" pokemon), and creating a secret base.
The touch screen is nice. For once, you can view the clock while walking around instead of going to the start menu. Not to mention you can check what level the pokemon in the day care anywhere, know how happy the pokemon in your party have, and other things. And that's just when your walking around.
The only problem is that they got rid of the itemfinder and replaced it with a dosing app that isn't as good. Oh, and the final gym leader really looks like the fourth hokage. Not the game's fault, but it still kinda funny...
In the end, get it if you like pokemon. I'm just glad there is so much to do after you beat the elite four. And it's great if you have friends who also have the game (or wi-fi). I will admit it is the best Pokemon game yet. Can't wait for Platinum that is coming out in March. Nya~

Honestly, I can't stand it. After Gold and Silver, the Pokemon just got more and more plastic. Yes it has cool features... but I want my gold back. Now the ever rumored (since fire red and leaf green) remake of them is at the forefront of my wish list. whee

Ah, but it is just a rumor. There was another rumor that Diamond and Pearl was to be the last Pokemon series since they have created the god of Pokemon. Of course, that went out the window since they made Platinum. And all the fans are crying out for a remake of GSC. Who knows, it might happen. There might be some changes to the plot, but minor ones. Maybe they will officially say Silver is Giovanni's son! Oops... Did I say that outloud? Well, it was suggested in Fire Red and Leaf Green along with proof in the Adventure comics. Nya....

It was a spoiler that needed to be said. I'm getting tired of people saying Red is Giovanni's son.
Oh, come on... Every single time you started up FR/LG, they would tell you what you did last, no matter what. At least with DP it only did that if you haven't played it over a day. Not to mention you couldn't grow berries but had to go to one island to get them. (I'm kinda a berry fanatic....) Also, why do they even call it the Sevii Islands when there are really 9 islands, two of which you could only go there by special event no longer avalible.... And there was no visual way of knowing if it was day or night, you just had to know it. Nya....
