In 2004, we were introduced to G-Corp, Gambino's Biochemistry and Technology Company.
(For more information on G Corp, read #0: The Rise of Gambino.)
G-Corp's Biochemistry Division was staffed by a group of Labtechs
(The Labtech Journals can be found here!).
In total, there were 12 Labtechs, each assigned a three digit number.
Shortly before Halloween, a 13th Labtech appeared, opening a shop in the Gambino Marketplace. Labtech X.
He was not a member of the G-Corp guild, nor was he given a journal.
He simply sold one thing, Vials of Unknown Liquid.
These strange vials became the cure for the zombie outbreak that was about to occur.
But the question remains...
How did X know a Zombie Outbreak was about to occur?
X then vanished until February 2005, when both he and Labtech 123
attended the Anniversary Ball at the Von Helson mansion in Durem.
His look had been altered a bit:
Party goers reported seeing him delivering a strange package to the Von Helson sisters
in exchange for an unknown sum of Gold.
Another party goer claims to have overheard Marie Von Helson claiming to have had
"Requested the strange events at the Gambino Mansion" as well.
((Request to the GCD, if you have screenshots of these quotes, please post them.))
X then disappeared again, not resurfacing until Halloween 2005,
when he was seen releasing a horde of Grunnies onto the party goers.
The final image of X showed him sneaking up behind an oblivious Labtech
123, surrounded by Grunnies. It is unknown what happened to 123,
but both he and X were missing after the Gambino Mansion burned down.
X's most recent appearance was at the Barton Cliffs on April Fools Day 2006.
After sending a strange message to Cindy Donovihn,
he interrupted the duel between the superpowered GamGino,
and the injured Ian.
(He also took an ORA ORA ORA punch directly to the danger zone. Bad. a**.)
He injected Gino with a strange substance, causing Gino's arm to mutate,
grabbing X and dragging him off the cliff and into the ocean. The resulting explosion
left an enormous crater in the middle of the cliffs, bathed Gaia in a white light that caught the attention of the Zurg.
Oh, and Gambino and Gino split into separate entities again.
Labtech X was presumed Dead....

In 2007, a new feature known as the Sig Lab was created.
In one section of the Sig Lab, an interface decorated with Binary Appeared
It read:
"0101100000100000010011000110100101110110011001010111001100101110"
and was translated to...
"X Lives".
With this discovery a guild was founded with the sole purpose of locating
the infamous man known as LabTechX...
The guild was named Legion X and was a hive of plot knowledge
filled with the finest plot theorists from across the land of Gaia.
Years passed with little to no clues to the whereabouts of X,
and very little Gaian plot to speculate on the guild eventually
fell into the shadows and was forgotten to all but a few...
That is until a most intriguing discovery was made.

zOMG! plot spoilers ahoy! zOMG! With the release of Gaia's MMORPG "zOMG!" we're told what really happened...
(LabTech X returns with a snazzy new look)
As it turns out LabTech X did not perish that fateful day on the cliffs.
When everyone was busy during the Zurg fiasco X used gold he funneled
from G CORP to create his SeaLab to study and harness the G'hi energy
that was leaking from a rift in space caused by the explosion when X
Injected Gino with a catalyst to separate Gambino and his son.
It's later discovered by the player that LabTech X is a clone of Gambino
that was used to run his company and was a sort of "Death insurance".
While in charge of G CORP X was able to obtain any technology he needed
and had stockpiled a large sum of gold and had amassed a crew of loyal
LabTechs that were used to create his own corporation called NeXuS.
NeXuS was used to fund the creation of X's SeaLab and began to harness
the Animated from the crater site and created the rings to draw more G'hi
through the rift making it larger.
X then created a giant Mech with a built in control mechanism
and planned to infuse it with the stored G'hi energy in order to
create an army of controllable Animated.
He then teleports to an unknown location and hasn't been heard from since.
With this news the guild was revived and appropriatly renamed Legion NeXuS
and is still active to this day!

I suppose it's time to have the Alruna thread locked...
It's finished evolving and it's destined to be eventually.
