Are there any particular motifs you're interested in, like images or symbols? Or do you have any particular thing about your persona that you want to play up, like dark mage or lightning-chucker? I'll scrounge around and see if I can get any wizardy pics up here.

As a sugestion for pants patterns, look up folkwear patterns online. They have a pattern which includes instructions for Turkish, African, and Indian style pants, all of which are fairly easy to sew, and are made with drawstrings, so they are basically authentic.

Quick and dirty way to make a collar stand up: Take extra-large zip ties and cut them to the height of of the collar. Then put them in between the fabric layers to make the collar stand up. Use whatever way you want (sewing, studs, rivets) to keep the zip ties in place. It's a quick and dirty way of doing boning.
I'm hoping to get some images up for you soon.

Kind of off topic, but im Wondering, Does anyone in the guild except commission to make Garb? (Gaia gold or Real money, doesn't matter to me Since i have 2m gold)
I'm learning how, been learning for some time, but, i don't have a sewing machine.
I'm just looking for an Outfit to Ditch with, Pm me if you're interested, and ill give details.

I make a lot of garb for people, but my little brother seems to be a hard case. He's ripped the crotch out of every pair of pants I've made him (Three sets so far) Any ideas on making pants more durable for a very hyperactive kid?

You can do a "french seam" on the crotch seamline, which means he has to rip thru two stitchlines before actually blowing it out. Let me know if you want instructions for a french seam and I'll post them here.

I also recommend that on seams that often blow out, that after you do the french seam, you do a third, sometimes fourth, stitch on the flap that the french seam creates. It just adds more stitchlines that have to break before you see your undies.

I want him to at least be presentable lol. It'd be a bit embarassing for my lil bro's bum to be showing in front of the king! -Taver
