So I'm 17 and I am in desperate need of money so I'm trying to get a job. Now the only jobs around here that are available are ones that don't allow piercings. And I have 16(I think).
Have you ever had to take out a piercing for a job? Did you put it back in after work? Did it heal over fast?

At the theater I used to work at, I had to take out all my piercings that were even remotely visible--all my earrings and even my tongue ring. I haven't worked there since I got my snakebites and monroe, though.

I saw a picture of someone's nose pierce after they'd had to remove it and reinsert it however many times a day for work. It had been a newish pierce, and by the time they took the picture, it was a gigantic big pustule on her nose. So I'd advise against putting your piercings through that if at all possible.
At my work, we're supposed to have a strict no-facial-piercings policy. However, I think that...about seven or eight people have nose piercings (they're religiously based though, i think), one person has a tragus and industrial, three people have helix pierces, one has a tragus, and I have a corkscrew on my helix, at 14g. It's quite large, but no one's said anything yet so I'm pretty much assuming it's okay.
If you can, scope out their workers and see if they've got piercings. Also swap all your jewelry to studs or retainers, because if they hire you with the present piercings then I don't think they can really complain later on.

I have the same problem. My friend is getting his tongue done next Friday and I would love to get another piercing myself but my mother hates most facial piercings.
I am also going to be working with my dad who repairs Military Equipment so we will have Military people coming though. I don't really want my ears pierced and would love something new. *sigh* I would love to get a septum done or a vertical lip piercing but I unfortunately need parental permission until I turn 18 in March. Poo.

I've had this problem before as well. At first I just didn't take them out and I got warned a couple of times and then they just kind of left me alone (I guess I was lucky there).
Then at another job I was told I had to take them out at all cost (or get clear jewerly so that the piercing won't show).
