I've finally got my hands on the DVD recently & I loved it. Yeah, I've seen the dub that was on the Fox Box but the subtitles were of course much better. Only noticable negatives were the lack of scene/episode select menu, "darn" was used instead of "damn" & while the original opening theme music was left alone there was a different video. Minor details that can be overlooked really when you consider how many episodes are on the 2 discs.

Now that makes me wish I had gotten some Sentai stuff while I was in Japan crying I could've gotten some UltraQ or other classic Ultraman DVDs while I was there....
Gah! Reminds me that I missed the Ultraman show on TV in Japan too! crying X2

Hmm maybe there's a wormhole a few blocks from your house that'd send you back in time so you can re-do your trip to Japan. Happens all the time in Alpha Quadrint. Sorry, been watching alot of Star Trek:TNG & DS9 lately. sweatdrop

I never bothered looking for Ultraman in stores before. I just assumed it wouldn't be there.
And don't worry about it, Seger, it's not as if you could stay glued to the tv during your whole stay in japan. There was a whole country to see and I'm sure the memories you have from the time spent away from the tv are worth more to you. The tv shows you missed can be found elsewhere and watched any time down the road.
