How can I be lost? In remembrance I relive...

Renewal of the Sun Goddess

On the beach
Sitting in the sun
A winter pearl turning gold.

Her blonde curls, King Midas's rings
Calling to my fingers
And I slip my hands through.

Sweeter treasure
Than Soloman ever hoarded,
Sea green eyes
Through amber glass
Smolder.

She's filled herself with heat
Of early morning rays,
From the glances of strangers lingering looks
From desires kindled and banked,
Her body tries to levitate
Into my lustful caress.

Yet the weight of gold pulls me down
To the burning of her kiss
And I understand
I am a willing sacrifice
Upon the altar of golden sun
She'll burn me away
As I worship her
When this evening comes.

And how can I blame you When it's me I can't forgive?
