In the bible it says not to practice witchcraft.
Deuteronomy 18:10
"There shall not be found among you anyone [Deut 12:31] who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer..."

I'm sure this has been brought up before..
how does this relate with video games such as Final Fantasy and movies and books like Harry Potter? If you watch these and play these will you go to Hell? are they wrong?

I don't know too much about Final Fantasy (RPG's and I don't mix) but Harry Potter, I know, deals alot with witchcraft. The main morals of the story (stick close to friends, good side always wins,) are good, but the concept of teenagers practicing witchcraft is wrong.
Now, reading Harry Potter, watching Harry Potter...that will not make you go to Hell. If you believe in Christ as your Lord and Savior and believe that He died for our sin and rose again, you're going to Heaven.
It's just that Harry Potter teaches some bad things. But then, so does a school science class.

My parents didn't allow me to read or watch anything in the likes of harry potter until I got to the sixth grade. They didn't want me to become addicted to it. I think when we make sure we seperate fact from fiction it is okay.

The real question is not what WE think or feel. It is what does GOD say about it, because what He says will be truth and what is best for us. The Bible says to think on good and pleasing things. It also says to fill our minds with what is holy and pleasing to God. What we fill our minds with becomes a part of our belief system no matter how subtle (BTW, this has also been verified by medical science – it’s how our brains are made, can’t change that). (Witchcraft is an attempt to manipulate demons - you do the math. Also, there is no such thing as a 'good' demon as the world tries to tell us. They hate with a passion that equals God's love and have no other desire than to see you cut apart from God now and die eternally. They have been cut off from the only thing that could ever change them to love or be 'good' - the Holy Spirit)

The Bible says that when you become saved, you are no longer a sinner. You have been justified (excused) by Christ, you are now a SAINT. You must know and believe who you are in Christ to be able to live as who He sees you as(a saint).
