 TwinClanWe who live in Carnivorous Forest feast on a delicious bounty of fish and mice; but our clan is by far the strongest and the most numerous. Our strong, muscular bodies yield powerful strikes. We swim like fish in the water, and will gladly defend our Clan in the name of the Warrior Code. The Territory The bulk of TwinClan's territory lies inside of the Carnivorous Forest. The forest itself is cut in half by a large river, which bleeds onto the eastern side of their territor, forming a small quick-flowing stream. Past the small stream is FlareClan territory. On the western border lies a dirt path used by NoTails (humans); and beyond the dirt path is EdgeClan's territory. North east of their territory lies a NoTail Camp. TwinClan's camp can be found between the river and the quick-flowing stream. On both sides of the entrance lie thick bushes; the left is for apprentices, and the right is for warriors respectivel. Towards the back covered by thick brambles is the nursey. The medicine cat is next to the nursey on the right side, inside of a small cave formed by a rock pile. On the rock pile is where the clan leader gives meetings. And on the left side, beside the medicine cat cave s the leader's den. The elders can be found near the apprentice's den underneath a hollow tree.

The sun had already risen before TigerStream's three kits opened their eyes and began to nuzzle her. By the time streams of light through the thick brambles of the nursey, the kits had already went over to the morning hunt kill pile to grab some food.
TigerStream's light green eyes glanced at the other nursing Queens, knowing that they only had less than a moon before her kits would be apprenticed. 'I hope I could mentor one of my kits,' yearned the Queen, but she knew that would not be likely. Still, they would be her last litter. Anyone would understand.

LightFeather came trouting in with a fish the size of herself hanging from her jaws. It had been a very good hunt for the dawn hunting patol and the fish was just one of many thing the patrol had brought back.
"Don't play with your food! A warrior must show respect for their prey," LightFeather scolded the kits softly. They only smiled at her and when on with their game. She gave a sight. She wanted very much to mentor one of those strong kits but they hardly even gave her warnings a second thought. Maybe she was a little to nice for her own good.
"How are you this morning TigerStream?" LightFeather asked as she trotted over to the nursery.

Newcloud's ear twitched at the sight of the returning patrol, and her eyes searched the camp for the flash of ginger fur that was her mentor. Growling, she trotted over to the warrior's den and poked her head inside. There lay her metor, Redstone, sleeping. "Wake up you lazy furball!" Said furball stirred and opened one eye, but sighed and turned around in his nest when he saw who his visitor was. "What do you want? I promised I'd take you on a hunting patrol, didn't I?" Newcloud growled and trotted around Redstone's nest till the two were facing each other again. "The hunting patrol's back already, mousebrain!" Redstone shot up from his nest, unintentionally butting heads with his apprentice, which sent the much smaller she-cat tumbling backwards with a yelp. "What do you mean the patrol is back already? How long was I asleep?"
Newcloud rolled her eyes and shook away the strips of moss that clung to her fur. "Long enough."

"Very well; the kits are all misbehaving as usual," she joked lightly. She batted Hawk as he tried to continue his game with his food. TigerStream then looked at the fish LightFeather had caught, "My what a large fish you have, LightFeather. I guess it's safe to say the Dawn Patrol went well?"

"Come on, then. We'll have to go out alone then." Redstone trotted through the entrance to the warrior's den, spotted Lightfeather talking to Tigerstream, and headed over to the nursery, Newcloud following close behind. "Good morning Lightfeather, Tigerstream. By the look of that fish the prey is running good today, am I right?"

"It was a very good hunt. Oh! Hello, RedStone, I'm sorry you missed the patrol. BlueSong was impatient and I don't think a hornets nest in the Warrior's den would have woken you up," LightFeahter chuckled good naturedly. It was a good sign. The prey hadn't been running as well as usuall this NewLeaf.
"Don't look so down NewCloud. There is a second hunting patrol going out today, and prey is running very good. NewOak caught a squirelle as big as himself!"

"Really!? I can't wait! But let's just hope this lazy furball doesn't sleep through that patrol too!" Redstone grew warm under his fur, and flicked the tip of his tail over his apprentice's mouth. "You should respect your mentor..." he mumbled half-heartedly.

"You will participate in many hunting patrols NewCloud; Do not let one morning spoil your mood," at this Honey and Hawk had begun to play roughly, getting in the way of the other morning patrol who were trying to store their kill. TigerStream flicked her tail in her kits direction, who looked up sheepishly at the patrol before moving their play into the nursery.

LightFeather gave a strech and glanced around the clearing. Many of the clan members were still asleep.
"I'm going to go see ShinningPebble. I'll see you all later," LightFeather said. She waved her tail in farewell as she made her way into the den next to the nursery.
"ShinningPebble, are you up?" LightFeather asked. The den held the sweet smell of herbs and LightFeather took the opertunity to take in the different sents.
"What is it, LightFeather? Are you not feeling well," is what ShinningPebble wanted to say but she had a mouth full of herbs. LightFeather giggled at her sister.
"I'm fine. I was just wondering if you could use any help." ShinningPebble set her herbs down and thought for a moment.
"If you could find some thyme and poppy seeds, I would be bery greatful."
"Thyme and poppy seeds, got it," LightFeather said. She excused herself with a nod and made her way back to the nursery.
"NewCloud, would you like to gather herbs with me? If it's alright with your mentor. We can even do a bit of hunting if you'ld like."

Newcloud looked to Redstone for permission, and when he nodded, she jumped up and nodded enthusiasticaly. "Sure! What herbs are we going to look for?"

Tigerstream left the group, finding that her kits had scampered into the elder's den. 'They should know better than that' she thought wearily to herself. However, they seemed to be listening rather tentively to CrackedThorne, who purred contentively at her audience. "Are they giving you trouble, CrackedThrone," she asked. The elder shook her head, "I was just telling them about the legend of how our clan came to live here."

"Thyme and poppy seeds. They grow closer to EdgeClan territory so we will have to pass the river, has RedStone taken you to see the borders yet," LightFeather asked as she trotted to the camp entrance. Even if NewCloud wasn't her apprentice, she wasn't going to let the young cat down. Not her or her mentor.

NewCloud nodded as she plodded along beside LightFeather. "Yes. That's one of the two borders he's shown me, that and the border with WoodClan. So... thyme and poppy seed? I know poppy seed is for pain, RedStone told me that, but what does ShiningPebble use thyme for?"

Tigerstream smiled, "I never get tired of hearing your stories. Please continue then."
The elder purred once more, "As I was saying.... Long ago before I even had wiskers on my face our ancestors had lived near a large watersource with no signs of stopping surrounded by mountains, and a forest like ours before that.."
