WoodClanHello, I am SilverWood and this is WoodClan. This is a Clan of Courage; a clan that stands for what is right and everything the Warrior Code tells us. We are the first to help those in need. Do not take this kindness as weakness, for we are more than willing to fight tooth and claw for our home. The Territory: WoodClan's territoy is covered in dense pine forest. The border between their territory and FlareClan is a gourge cut from sheer cliffs. The boundry between EdgeClan is a fence that extends from a NoTail nest (Ranger Station). Our camp is nestled in the upper half of our territory in the middle of a bramble thicket. There are low hanging branches everywhere so if the clan is in danger they can jumb into the branches for safty. The Elder's den is to the right and the aprentices den is to the left of the entrance. Next to the aprentices den is the Nursery and then the Warrior's den. This means the Warrior's den faces the entrance. The Clan leader's den is next to that and then in the hallow tree is the Medicine Cat's den. The Clan leader conducts meetings from the branch hanging over his den. That is our camp.

Wait for it... Wait for it... Gotcha! MoonShine thought to here self as she quickly killed the mouse with one bite, then sat up, triumph gleaming from her eyes. This was first time hunting as a warrior, and she already had a handy pile of fresh-kill buried and ready to take back. She looked up at the sky as she felt the first drops of rain coming down. I better get back, She thought, now feeling the rain coming down hard on her pelt.

BurntOak sat at the camp entrance gumpling. Usually gaurd duty was left to an apprentice but it seemed WoodClan was running short these days. Glanceing around the camp she noticed that the fresh kill pile was getting low. I hope they get back soon. BurntOak thought as the first drops began to fall on the camp.

MoonShine charged back into camp, shaking water from her pelt and showering BurntOak with them, then dropping her catch on the pile of fresh-kill. She stopped by the camp entrance, to speak to BurntOak, then charged back out of camp to gather the rest of her kill. Better do it quick unless I want to get drenched again, she thought as she dug up the pile and ran for camp.

BurntOak's fur fluffed out as MoonShine gave her an unexpected shower. She let out a soft hiss after MoonShine's tail. She had been perfectly safe from the rain until she had passed by.
"I hate gaurd duty!" BurntOak yowled.

MoonShine dropped her prey off and walked up to BurntOak, showering her again. "Go and get some fresh-kill to eat," MoonShine purred at BurntOak, "One of the apprentices is coming to relieve you of guard duty. You're coming on sunhigh patrol with me." And I hope the rain stops by then. MoonShine thought to herself.

BurntOak saw the young apprentice hurrying their way over towards her. She was almost sad to leave gaurd duty, but the thought of fresh kill made her mouth water.
"Which border will we be traveling?" BurntOak asked, licking away the water MoonShine had gotten on her.

"The one along EdgeClan." MoonShine said, flicking her tail. "There's been sighting of a fox." She then went to the fresh-kill pile, picked out the vole that she had killed eariler, and set it in front of BurntOak. "Here." She said.

BurntOak was a little suprised that MoonShine brought the fresh kill to her. She brushed it off quickly though, glad to not have to go into the rain.
"Thanks," she mumbled around the vole. It took her only a couple of bites to finish it off. The young apprentice quickly took their spot at the entrance. BurntOak stood with a deep sigh.
"Lets get over the the Warrior's den and find the rest of our patrol," BurntOak said before dashing towards the dry den.

MoonShine was right behind BurntOak, for she was also eager to get out of the rain. Following BurntOak, MoonShine began to call out names.

As soon as BurntOak was in the cover of the Warrior's Den, she shook out her fur. She heard the grumble of the other warriors but she quickly busied herself with cleaning out the rest of the droplests. BurntOak gave a soft purr when she felt satisfied with her work only to find that SpottedPine came running past her with his apprentice giving her another shower. With a small huff she set about her task again.
