HALLO EVERYONE mrgreen ! I dont think there is any fashion-related forums anywhere in the guild so how bout I start with this one.
So usually in the JCC we talk about anime, manga, video games, and the occasional J-POP/J-ROCK genres, but how about you guys who are also interested in Japanese fashion? Visual Kei, Lolita, or Gang girl probably sound familiar to you. And if your really interested in the fashion I bet the words Harajuku, Shibuya, Takeshita, and Tokyo also spark your interest. Well then lets let our hearts out in this forum and talk all about the Japanese inspired fashions that we love heart ! Or if you've never even heard of these fashions or are new to the ideas join in as well!! 
I recently found out through my best friend about this really cool magazine/book called the Gothic&Lolita Bible. I just bought one today and its great!! It has so much lolita madness in it with all the latest fashions, tons of pictures, tips, even sewing patterns from actual Japanese designers!! Its awsome for those interested in the fashion.

I totally LOVE Lolita!!! Gothic Lolita as well! I've looked through the Gothic&Lolita Bible before and it was awesome! I didn't get to see Lolita for men before I looked through that. I think that I'm into it because I love frills, ribbons, and in some cases the maid look.

RadicalKitsune I totally LOVE Lolita!!! Gothic Lolita as well! I've looked through the Gothic&Lolita Bible before and it was awesome! I didn't get to see Lolita for men before I looked through that. I think that I'm into it because I love frills, ribbons, and in some cases the maid look. Yeah Lolita is so PRETTY! I love Goth-lolita too and when they add a punk spin to it its even better. I think I'm attracted to Japanese fashion through an artistic perspective. The fashion inspires me so easily! I love drawing Lolita inspired characters. Its so fun to draw and so different. I hadn't even began to think about it as a fashion I would actually wear, but I guess it would be cool to get a more punk type of lolita dress (like from h.NAOTO). Right now my brain is taken over by Decora! DECORA heart DECORA heart DECORA heart

wow. i didnt even know you made this...lol i dont go to this part of the forum much sweatdrop japanese fashion is pretty interesting. i dont think i've seen every type of fashion.

Yup and thanks for visiting this part of the guild and noticing the new topic ^.^! Yeah I definately haven't seen all of the J-fashions yet. Maybe I'll post some little descriptions of each one if more people seem interested.

Hopefully more people will see it. And nobody better tell me that the JCC peeps aren't into J-Fashion, because when I brought my Gothic&Lolita Bible to the last meeting I just took it out for one second to show Annthy and it was out of my hands in seconds. LOL eek I was glad people were interested in it though.

Speaking of that, I was actually forced to get up in front of the whole group and talk about just that. We introduced some gaia peeps and told the crew to GET ON GAIA!!! Oh and fashion related: Anybody know a good decora store around these parts? Like cute stores that sell nice accessories. Usually the privately owned stores carry the most unique stuff but I dont know where to find those type of stores here.
