They'll be in San Francisco mid-Feb and I hope to see them. Last time they were here I was too sick to go. *crosses fingers*

Riffing groups, come to Philly! You probably won't get murdered! =o Really, Nutter's cleaned things up, and there's a lot less violent killing now.

I saw 'em! They riffed on Blood of the Vampire (very bad Mexican movie...very bad). The show started out with J.Elvis and a friend called "Gruber" who sang a few comic songs to warm up the crowd, including an "I hate clowns" one, then Frank did a little shtick and sang his pitch about a new superhero cartoon. (Not a real cartoon. Might have been a real pitch.) Then, the rest of the cast emerged and arranged themselves on the stage, Mary Jo, Joel and J.Elvis on the left and Trace and Frank on the right. Frank and Mary Jo were seated throughout, and the others were standing. They had water bottles and scripts with them so they could read as the movie was playing. It was pretty cool, it was indeed like watching a movie with your funniest friends...all we needed was host segments.
Oh, and to add to the atmos., someone was farting silently but abundantly during the show and it was too crowded for me to change my seat. I love San Fran so much. I guess you could say the movie...stunk...*dies*
